Supervisor Review? Please share your experiences

Called NVC today and got put on supervisor review. Scan date is Dec 1, 2016.

If you go to NVC thread you can see people's experiences. Most have waited about ~3 weeks give or take on supervisor review (So a total of 9 weeks or so, sometimes 10). There are quicker ones and longer ones though.

 

Supervisor review, from what I can tell, basically is just "informing" the supervisor for the section that will review your documents that yours have been waiting 6 weeks. However, there are so many delays with so many applications that I really don't think it does anything. I spoke to a supervisor about it and they said they still work "in order" so all the people on supervisor review before you still need to come first.

 

NVC does seem to separate applications into departments. Not sure how they are separated (regional?) so it is possible that one department gets through quicker than others.

 

My scan date was November 28th, Supervisor review on the 10th. Still waiting (called yesterday). Just have to keep waiting.
