So after a long time of waiting for a response I recieved a RFE when I checked my USCIS page. I am calm that I recieved and I imagined I was going to recieve an RFE. Back in November I sent an album along with my binder. The USCIS kept the binder but sent the album back the had photo of my fiance and I. Althought I dont have my RFE letter yet I am almost sure it's a request for our pictures. Especially since I sent a letter saying that I sent an album along with the binder. I am still nervous can somebody give me some advice or their opinions on my topic please.

I appreciate it soooo much, and thanks in advance.

You will have to wait until you get the RFE letter in the mail. I know it sucks but that's the only way to know for sure what they need from you. It could be the photo album or any other thing. Don't stress too much. If they need the album, send it back to them. Follow the RFE letter instructions they provide in every detail. Hopefully all will be fine after that.

Please clarify were the photos and the I-129F packet sent in one package or separate packaging?

I'm not understanding why they sent the photos back unless you mailed them in separate package and they could not associate them with your I-129F.

Thanks

Jim

the photos were in the same package that the binder was in. They semt the package I believe because everything had to be inside the binder.

I'd guess USCIS issued the RFE because there were not any photos included in the petition, if all the photos you were using as evidence of being together were inside the returned album  The only reason I can even think of as to why they'd send the album back is because they couldn't file it with the rest of your petition. Rather than throwing it (as they throw any binders, etc. that hold together the I-129F packet so they can file the paperwork) they wanted to return it to you for safe keeping.

They sent the album back because it was an album.  They don't accept that. Don't overdo the packaging. Send simple photos in a ziplock baggie or print them onto regular copy paper.

Btw, your binder was tossed in the garbage. They took your documents out and threw the binder away. They couldn't possibly keep binders and photos albums for the thousands of visa petitions they get each year.

If the RFE is for photos which is doubtful. Please keep it simple.  Hopefully, you sent other proof of meeting evidence.
