AOS Finally Approved!!

Well almost 7 Months after being transferred for speedier processing to the CSC, my AOS got approved today. PHEW!!!

Hopefully my daughter's won't be far behind, they just realised that she hadn't had her biometrics done, so maybe shortly after that. Her biometrics appt is on this Thursday.

Congrats !!!!! I hope your daughter's approval isn't too far behind as well .. I thought we would have to wait longer then a few days for my daughters approval .. So here's hoping your daughter gets her approval soon as well

my non-csc processing only took what, 3 months? and that is considering the fact that i had an RFE and waited like 3 weeks to send it back.

"Speedy processing" is very relative and depends largely on whether the DO the OP falls under is backlogged or not. There are DOs that are not backlogged and can process cases in 3 months ... while others take years.

In my case, our original DO was 1 year behind. Our files sat for 6 months before it got moved to CSC. It took CSC 2 months to approve it. In total, my processing time was 8 months ... still a lot better than the 14 months that other filers under my original DO were going through.

I am curious what district offices have jurisdiction over the more recent CSC transferees so as to determine whether being transferred to CSC does serve the dual purpose of reducing backlog in those DOs and in ensuring quick processing time for those transferred.
