We did not receive any NOA by snail mail from CSC confirming the receipt of our transferred files. We did, however, receive emails from them regarding receipt of the files. Perhaps you can send an email to CSC and get their confirmation that they do have your file.

That would make us feel better. How can we contact them by email?

I'm sorry but it's been a while and I don't have the email handy. I do know that it's buried somewhere in the huge CSC transferees topic. You can find a link to this topic via my signature below.

Mirlan, it's only been a few weeks since your case was transferred. Definitely follow up on it, but I wouldn't worry about it just yet.

Maybe 'usually' for some people, but not when I say it. If I was trying to be nasty, I'd probably resort to saying something like "why the )&% do you care?" - and I wouldn't add anything about not being nasty. Tone is hard enough to figure out on the computer. I just noticed that you asked twice (once in another post). I didn't want him to be embarassed by your questions, but he isn't.

Anyway, since you asked a third time.... I've asked Mirlan that in the past, and he says he doesn't know why he does it. I think he doesn't realize he's doing it (like when I bite my nails sometimes). I'm trying to gently remind him when I see him do it because people in America (like, future employers for example) might frown upon it. I don't know about capitalization in Arabic (can't read it), and I don't know if he does it then or in French.... now I'm curious!

Oh, and the reason I'm answering 'for him' - he must've been looking at this after I fell asleep, and it was on the computer screen when I woke up this morning. He's still asleep now.... (he's such a sweet angel)

Claudeth's AOS petition was transferred to CSC in January 2006 and she received her GC in February so this could be a really good thing. Good luck
