After 129F approval and Serbia interview questions

So my first question is after we have approval of the 129F how long do we have to submit all paperwork to the Embassy and can the interview be delayed if we get approval too fast?  He needs to stay there till the middle of august for school.     My second question is how is the interview process there and are they going to give us a hard time because I'm a bit older than him (  I know age differences aren't that alarming if the man is older than the woman but that's not our case.)

Can you wait to submit the paperwork so your timing is a little better? I think after you get your visa approved you have a certain amount of time before you "have" to use it anyway. I'm not sure what that time frame is but I know that others on here may know. 

 

A lot of women on here are older than their fiance. It seems to be country specific on whether or not it is important, but most of the times, with proof of visits and everything else being good, age isn't particularly relevant.

I've been waiting since Oct for him to be ready and I'm also worried if we run into any snags then it will be later than we want.   August is our goal.      Does anyone know how long the visa is good for?   Is 6 months correct?
