This is the link for current poverty lines, norhing else. The amount is $20,025, not $25k for a household of 2.

What amount did you put in  the i-864? What evidence of income did you send? 

Didn't you check before hand what he needed to be making?

Our adjusted gross income for 2015 was 4,500

We sent tax returns for proof of income

It states this in the instructions. Total income if you file the 1040 (line 22), or adjusted gross if you file 1040ez (line 4). 

 

You should also send pay stubs, and an employment letter to provide information about current earnings.

If you received RFE - and it sounds like you did - yes, it will likely affect your EAD and AP.

generally, RFEs come with a deadline, so make sure you file your response before the deadline, otherwise your petition will be denied. Your EAD/AP may also be affected, as stated above (you could try to call the 1800 number and ask).

Is it possible to find a co-sponsor? You have to earn $16,000 more than last year, that's a big jump... Keep in mind that the guideline may be adjusted in the coming months (usually it goes up!)

Yes, right that's why I asked when she is filing. she said she is doing on april, but rfe generally gives you a 2 month deadline. So please check the deadline

I had the same issue however instead of sending just my recent taxes what I also sent were 6 consecutive paystubs plus a letter from my employer showing my current income, and I have not received any RFIE and I applied in September.

Yes we send paystubs,and employment letter..my husband is a truck driver and he make more than $100,000 every year..

Yeah they give me 87 days..we are going to send 2016 tax hopefully first week of april,with our 12 months bank statements and assets,like property and our truck..hopefully it shud be enough..this really stress me out

100,000 is well above 20,000 then why did you receive rfe
