We didn't meet poverty guideline

Hi,we send our AOS packet last Nov.2016,this last January 4,2017 i recieved a pink paper,in the first page it says they need the recent tax report(altho we sent 2013,2014,2015)but on the second page it says our 2015 didn't meet the poverty guidline..so they are asking for proof of assets or co-sponsors,now my concern is if our 2016 tax meet the poverty guidline do we still need co sponsor or assets?and does this letter affect my EAD and AP petition?please help,and to those who will respond,thank you in advance!

if your 2016 meet poverty requirement then it's okay I think, If you want to send 2016, then you have to  file now I think. Filing date starts 23rd . Also I dont know if 2016 will be considered most recent or not, because the deadline is 18th april to file. So those who are applying after April their recent would be 2016. I am not sure about this

We are going too..but im asking if our 2016 is above poverty line which we going to send 1st week of April do we still need co sponsor?

So if you are sending the package now it's better to show other assets and co-sponsors . And in the interview may be go with your 2016 tax filing documents

We are thinking to send both,our 2016 tax return and assets..but how do we know if our assets are enough?

So you will send your package around April?/ Check out the poverty guideline.. The value of whole thing should come out as the target level mentioned in the guideline

I don't think so, it will going to affect EAD and AP. To be honest it depends upon them. We just can wait

Yes we are planning to send it in April,im just hoping that maybe if our 2016 is ok they dont need the assets or co sponsor you know to save time and money because my husband is a truck driver and we are out on the road most of the time..

so the poverty guidline 125% for 2 people is 25,200 per annum. Still check not sure. But it should be around this
