if all goes well the NVC page should be working accordingly by 9PM tonight, so hopefully we'll be able to proceed soon.

have a great day!

Oh jeez, I just read on the JULY NVC filers thread that someone just spoke to a representative on the phone and they said it could be Friday before it's fixed... Where did you hear this far better time estimate lol? That would be awesome! Hubby and I are going to Florida for a few days on Friday morning so I'd really like my ds260 done and submitted by then :clock::bonk:

Hey guys! They NVC is making progress slowly but surely. My AOS and IV fees showed as paid on the 25. So maybe they are going in individually? Not sure. But looks like they are taking care of the issue thank fully.

(Sorry if I told you guys this already! I didn't feel like looking through lol)

Wow that's pretty cool! Im sure there's good demand for translation services. Well... I have a bachelor's in television and radio production lol but I've never actually used my degree. All my experience has been in education. I'll be going in to my fifth year as a special educational needs teaching assistant. Not sure if I'll look for a job along those lines when I move or potentially look at a new career path. Keeping my options open! Honestly I'd be totally happy with working in a supermarket or general retail for the first few months while I get settled!

Oh that's an awesome field too!! Both my parents are in the special educational needs sector :)

yea i applied because that particular place is within walking distance but really for my options to open up I need to learn to drive ! So I might also take some PT work in a local restaurant / supermarket too ! I think it's a smart move just to have something to get the dolla rolling in!

Guys -- I need some serious help/guidance.I have PD of January 5 in Texas Service Center. I spoke with Tier 2 officer and she told me that Texas is dealing with October cases and my case is still within normal processing time. At the same time, few of the member in late January got their case approved in early July. When i put the receipt number which are around me, all of their cases have been approved as well and send to DOJ. I understand some cases require more investigation but here is what puzzling me.
Another guy spoke with Tier 2 officer few days ago and posted that Tier 2 officer told him that they are dealing with December cases while Tier 2 officer told me they are dealing with October cases.
Any help/advise would be alot appreciated.

Do you drive in the UK? I've been slowly building up some confidence in my husband's car lol I started by driving in parking lots at night then moved to parking lots earlier in the day where there were actually other people to deal with and then yesterday I bit the bullet and said I was driving us to get the groceries this time LOL(it went just fine) sounds so silly seeing as I have a licence in the UK but it's all about trying to get used to automatic, different side of the road, stop signs and different rules AND crazy impatient drivers! If you don't have a license in the UK you'll probably have a really easy time learning to drive here! Seems like a piece of P for anyone who would be starting completely from scratch plus in most states the driving test is a JOKE! 😂😂

AOS on 7/14

IV on 7/18

changed to paid on 7/25

Hi there,

We have received a couple emails from NVC. The one addressed to my husband contained the AOS bill, but mine didn't have the IV bill...

Also, when I connect to the NVC website and enter the case# and bill#, the IV bill section is not active... is there a delay between those two bills?

Sorry if my question is dumb, but i'm not sure if this is normal or some sort of technical issue on NVC's portal.

there was a delay between mine, only after i called and they said they didnt know who the agent was going to be..which was not true...the next day i could pay the IV after they sent me the letter by email.
