i paid the AOS on the 17th and the IV on the 20th, yeah I was hoping that the status would've changed already. Unfortunately i have a wife that just filed her taxes and there's slot to be looked at with assets and such, so yeah we're waiting on that to send in the package. They said it would take 3 weeks to get the taxes done so I'm expecting something next week. Then the other thing is my passport is valid till April 2018, so I have to file for a new one I guess, ugh.

 Hi guys we just call USCIS today and they said they are still OCTOBER 2016 .. we are now at  195 days and she said it would take longer than 60 days waiting 😪.. is there any contact number that we should call for an accurate information? Please help guys because this waiting game really getting so upset 😭

I paid my IV on July 12th and it was taken out hubby's bank on the 13th... after emailing the nvc 2 days ago as advised to do on the phone.. still... NOTHINGGGGG!!! ugh stressful!! I'm just glad this is happening whilst I'm in the US with my Mr so I don't have to stress it alone and my mind is finally not so strictly on NVC stuff lol!

I hear ya! Im fortunate enough to be going through this while in America with my husband too! As if all of this wasn't stressful enough were also about a week away from closing on our first home together and then the process of packing and moving starts in the small window before I have to fly back home! Busy busy but im grateful to be here and grateful to be at the NVC stage. 

 

Enjoy your sushi! Chipotle is on the cards for me!

We just bought all the new furniture for our place and have been decorating and starting a mini garden on our balcony  as well  its so exciting and it feels so much more real now that we have a home here together.  As if it wasn't hard enough leaving before... I'm going to be a complete mess when I leave here on Sunday  trying not to think about that! haha

Quick question and this is for all who has a turist visa, when visiting which airline, airport you go through, I avoid mostly Houston or Hobby they ask too much, last one I enter directly to New Orleans, congrats with the new garden and everything is hard I know I feel you, everytime I comeback so sad!

@larnar1309 yeah I'm in the same NVC boat, but I'm ok I'm in the midst of leaving my current job and moving on to work for a new company for the time being, so I have new exciting things to look forward to starting next week 😁, and I'm making sure I'm celebrating every last thing I do while still here lol.

I would recommend you fill out the entire timeline so people can help you out. You have to call USCIS and ask to speak to supervisor. I called them yesterday and learned that they are currently working `on Dec` 15th cases.

Hey guys. I've been MIA. But i see we were all going through this processing glitch the NVC is having. 

we finally were able to begin our DS-260 a few days ago and submitted today. So its coming guys!!!

it took about 8 days from payment of IV fee until the app was opened  

Also sent off the documents today. All this time, I thought we had to wait to complete the app to send off the package. Wish I realized sooner. But whats a few more days

@larnar1309 and @LaurenAndBrent Congratulations on your homes!!! how exciting! I can't wait for that day.
