Hey everyone. I have never posted on here before but just wanted to let everyone know i got approved today ( July 24th, 2017). My NOA1 was January 25th, 2017. Exactly 6 months and 1 day. I called USCIS today and asked to speak to a tier 2 supervisor etc. etc. and he told me that my application was approved just today. It was my first time calling them as well lol. He said I should get something in the mail soon. I am a U.S. citizen and my service center was Texas Service Center. To all the people waiting out there, keep your head up. Looks like Texas Service Center is processing end of January now.

Im jealous to all who got their NOA2 but CONGRATS GUYS!

I dont see anyone else from california😞 Am i the only one? F2a pd is january 27 2017😞

I think most people in this thread are IR1 / CR1. You may be better looking for f2a specific threads to find people in a similar position. Maybe California is a service centre that more specifically processes those petitions. I honestly am not too sure though so don't hold me to that lol.

F2a stands for immediate family petition right? My sister petitioned my niece last October 2016. And her service center is in California. My  niece turned  21 on December 2016. Till now no approval yet.

for the people waiting on NVC regarding status of their payments and the DS260 coming online. NVC is having major issues with the website. I have been advised to send in proof of payment which I did, now I have to wait and see what happens. I don't feel comfortable sending my documents upfront so I'll just stick it out.  Hopefully I can complete my DS260 soon.

Hi guys

I just sent in a request to USCIS regarding case outside normal processing which is 6 month mark. The request actually went through so i guess anything outside of 6 months is outside the normal processing.

Not sure if this will actually help or hinder but i will wait and see because now it forces them to actually look at my case and give a reply.

This is good information for those guys. I would send them the documents because afterall they are only getting photocopies. This process has been so hard and tedious and now to come across technical issues is so not fair. Hope the issues are resovled and the process move along smoothly for all those who are now stuck at NVC stage.

Keep the faith guys this too shall pass.

yes I reckon they need to hire some sillicon valley high tech geniuses that could really fix their IT systems. Can't  be that you have an outdated  immigration procedure plus IT system...disasterous!

It's a hot mess!! We paid the IV fee last Thursday morning and it still says in process even though this is the fifth business day since payment. When did you pay yours?? When my hub gets home from work I'll get him to access his bank online so I can send proof of payment. I've heard mixed reviews of doing this... Some people have said it makes no difference but hey, worth a shot! I already sent off the packages and they were delivered to NVC yesterday. Just thought we may as well get them there so that once the ds260 is unlocked and I submit it they're ready to roll and the next countdown can begin! 😂
