Nebraska service centre seems to be one of the slowest in terms of getting an approval... So many people hope for a different service centre.

I have seen that the letters in your receipt indicate what service center your case is. But what is LIN?

Hi guys! Sliding through here on behalf of my friend! She filed a I-130 and I helped her fill it out but now I think we did it wrong! We sent it 1/06/17, they got it 1/09/17 and the notice date was for 1/18/17! It was sent to Texas so we are just hoping we don't get a RFE! If you fill out it with the guidelines of k3 do they automatically transfer it over to a CR-1?

LIN is Nebraska.

Most of the time they will transfer your Visa request to a CR1

And we still haven't gotten our NOA1... (package received on the 31st), this is driving me a bit nuts not knowing yet which service center is in charge for us !

Nope... nothing

We filed through a lawyer, they don't seem to be worried. I mean, it's "only" been 6 business days (feels like a thousand days though).

Ohh well then I wouldnt worry too much, you'll prob get the hard copy of noa1 through the mail pretty soon! We filed for the e-copy and got a text confirmation of acceptance within 3 days and then the hard copy came about 7 days after that! So it shouldn't be too much longer

Hello all submitted my 130 on Jan 28 Noa1 February 2nd.?This is my second time submitting 130, the first was approved by we didn't go through with it. So 8 years later I'm doing it again. Praying that having been approved before helps
