the only thing I sent to proof a bonafide marriage was my marriage certificate and letter of the bank showing we share a bank account, nothing more nothing less.

Just been on hold to NVC for an hour before finally speaking to someone! I-130 was approved from USCIS on 20th June and was received by NVC on 29th June. The guy said its taking about 2 weeks to be assigned a case number so im going to call again on Monday to ask, which will be a little earlier than the 2 weeks... and if no case number yet I'll call on the Thursday which will be exactly 2 weeks. Man, the hold music is horrible. It's still ringing in my ears. But hey, another step forward! 😂

That makes me feel better because thats all we sent and I was started to panic reading everyone's posts about sending pics etc etc.

169 days in and still nothing!! Cant believe how slow Texas is being and Im still worried we could get an RFE or they might even start transferring cases to another service center. Either way it delays things. My husband and I are meeting in Greece next week for our friends wedding so maybe we will be approved while we are together so we can celebrate

lol you're ears got spoiled! I only got the automated voice to tell me that their busy and "she" had the nerves to hang up on me😂, I was like ain't this something!!!?

Oh I know, im so grateful to be at the stage where im having to endure it but one hour of the same 30 second song... Yall will feel my pain soon enough!

I got that too... Multiple times!!! I tried to call originally around 2pm and it kept hanging up after the automated message. According to Google 7-9/10 am and 10pm-12am are the best times to call so I tried again at 10pm and was on hold for the full hour before some totally unenthusiastic fella named max took my call lol! Maybe try again today in one of the "quieter" times

Hi all!!!! We received our NOA2 approval notice via email this morning! The I130 was apparently approved on the 3rd, but with the holiday and such we are just now getting the news! So exciting!!! It took exactly five months from the time we received our NOA1.

If you have a case Nº and package ready to send, etc, it depends on your embassy, may be...
