Glad to hear advances, Potomac is doing a good job, definitely. Hope others SC's will go faster. We are in Nebraska, so we don't expect news until September, but we are so happy for you all. Great news, get every single paper ready, and go for it!!

Good luck to all, we see in the states!!

Guys!

just called NVC (and waited 45 min to speak to someone)

they received my paperwork yesterday, 6/28/17 (sent from uscis on 6/23/17)

she said it can take up to 2 weeks to receive a case number. I'm pretty sure I'll call everyday 😩😩

the overall advice is to call once a week for the first two weeks, after that you can start bothering them more often, but please avoid everyday....you never know whom you're dealing with. If she said two weeks then that's a good thing, because it can take much longer. Don't let impatience get the better of you now, just call once a week.

Yea - we received paper work June 5th and have been calling every 2 - 3 days since June 9th - still nothing !!! Hoping to hear something today .... >_<

most people have been super nice and informative on the phone as long as you have all the info ready that should be fine!

I think once a day is not necessary unless you go way over the time limit like 4 week mark!

Also remember if you get the case number and IIN to pass over both you and your partners email addresses so you can definitely be updated via email for the next steps !!

She has tourist visa, I was thinking her to bring here this month first week. I am so stressed since I saw my RFE status. Wish they could at least tell me the info so that I can start working on the docs that they are looking for.

My wife had a bankaccount at wells Fargo and I was added easily after we got married, I have my own card, own login and my address in the Netherlands is registered in their system. No questions asked by the bank. I had to identify myself and I did with my Dutch passport.
