Lol anyone check the latest updated processing times on USCIS website?? Potomac is listed as working on cases from November 2015 for a US citizen filing for spouse. HA! Must be a mistake! The rest of the dates are 2016 and most 2017, citizen filing for spouse is the only one listed as 2015. Once again USCIS proving itself to be entirely incapable.

And Texas is still stuck at the exact same date than a month ago... how stupid!

Also, petitions filed by permanent residents for their spouse is far ahead, how fair is that?

A couple days ago, I wrote to my lawyers, asking them to be proactive about the next stage. Their answer made me quite angry and fustrated. They referred to those dates on the USCIS website, wrote the most generic response one could ever think of and told us to just sit and wait.

Not asking for much... just that NO2, the road is long still after that.

Well it should still be 2016 based on the other dates (they show dates around 1-2 months behind where they actually are) but it would be a date at the end of 2016 like Nov or Dec

So after my I-130 was received, i applied for the K-3 because, well why not lol.

But i got this notification today. I-130 status still says "received" 🙄 But I'm hoping this means that maybe it's approved and just hasn't been updated yet🙏🏽Wishful thinking

I called USCIS and was pretty much told the same thing. That the I-130 was likely approved, that is the only scenario where the 129 would have been closed. He told me to get "pre-excited" and hold the rest of the emotions until the approval is posted! haha!!

Well I'm definitely pre excited for you :D

this group together process is so awesome - I'm literally just as excited for anyone else's news as I am for my own :) collective conscious visas unite ! Hahaha

Curious... Could you take a picture of the mail (covering your personal details, of course).

I am sure I am note alone in knowing what this much anticipated envelope looks like :-)

I changed my address and received a letter from the service center showing that the change was successful, the envelope sent had something like "Potomac Service Center" on the letter (easily identifiable).  I'm sure you can't miss it.

Me and my husbands lease for our new place in the states is starting on July 1st. Should we change the date after or before that? What did you do?
