Well it's officially past 5pm in America and I assume that's the hours USCIS operate to and no update as of yet so I'll just have to postpone my constant checking to tomorrow when USCIS start working again lol! Fingers crossed... So nervous! 😂 This waiting has been pretty rubbish but now it feels VERY REAL knowing that they're working on all our cases!

indeed it's al becoming a bit too real! lol , it's like any day now instead of oh 3 or 4 months from now.

Has anyone who got their NOA2 heard back from the NVC yet?

I think you're the only person in this thread actively posting that has NOA2 lol. As far as I can tell from reading posts on other threads you don't actually hear anything from NVC, you have to contact them. USCIS has to forward your case on to NVC, when they have done that your status will change to "case sent to the department of state" or something along those lines. You need to give it like at least a week from that point before you start ringing because otherwise you'll be wasting your time. After about a week give them a call asking if they have received your case and ask them to assign your case number ... And there's some other number you get. (I can't remember off the top of my head but there are plenty of people with actual experience and knowledge posting in these forums) You can't move forward with the NVC stage without that stuff. This is all just info I've picked up from reading these forums, familiarise yourself with the NVC process and what to do at each stage. Google and pinned posts on the forums have loads of info!

Congrats on your Police Cert! ! yay! :D Mine says it will take 10 days so hoping for it to arrive next week :) bit worried about the Japanese one though...

Ah I see :/ I wasn't sure if anyone else had received their NOA2 since the dates seemed to change to Jan! My status hasn't changed yet but we did try calling just to see how it was. The lady was so nice and just simply gave us an update and told us to call back in a few days. So we will call back tomorrow which will have been one week! Yes you need the CC and IIN numbers and to give them your and your spouse's email ad to receive updates. We have started looking at DS-206 sample forms so that we have all the info ready. If we have it ready we can pay the fees and send the application all on the same day after receiving the numbers. (I've seen this done on other timelines). Lets all stay prepared so we can do it fast! :D

Got my police certificate in the post today woohoo! And all shots up to date... Now just to carry on the waiting game for noa2.

Hi, may I ask, is there a list of shots you have to have up to date on this website or could I find them on google? It's been a while since I've had any shots so I think I need to check up on these lol! Also can I go to my regular doctor for them?

Thanks in advance 😁

Hey! Im almost sure some nice member on this forum linked me to where the list of shots were. If you Google London embassy vaccination requirements you should find a table with them all listed by age category. I'll see if I can find the document and send a screen shot lol.

I needed a booster for diptheria, tetanus and polio and also my MMR because I only had one dose as a baby. I think I might need pertussis or whatever it's called but I'll need to double check that. That's part of the tdap. My gp scheduled me in for them. I just explained the situation and they sorted it.

Welcome atleast we will be a guide to you and thanks for the kind words earlier. Ive completed affidavit of support waiting on hubby to visit end of month to sign 2 copies and gathered a few items. Have also completed the sample ds 260. That way i have an idea of what's to come. I have also instructed hubby to get his tax docs in order. I just want to hit ground running once we are sent to NVC. Will do police record then as they offer next day service.

Just take the time to regroup as you see it fit and you will be alright. Had to do that today myself.

Hiya...130 days...married 10 months, just been back from the states for two weeks and it's as if my soul hasn't returned back. I understand your pain and it's easy to say stay strong, but at this point it's a cruel wait to have to go through. And after 4 years of this long distance thing, I wish immigration to be over soon. hang on in there girl!!! We have come this far by hope & faith, go easy on yourself.🌝 sending you positive vibes & thoughts.

Yup! Have to keep positive. Although sometimes it feels like the most heart wrenching process in the world and I spend most my time feeling cut in half being far from my husband - I try to find time each day to give gratitude for what I do have.

We do have this process in movement. We will be with our partners soon. Supposedly spouse route is the FASTEST and "simplest" to get !!!

Sometimes I look on sites and I'm seeing six years written for other visa types just thinking praise the universe that I will just have this year or so of stress and then get to be with the love of my life for the rest of forever :)

wishes and positive vibes to you all! We are doing it ! Stay strong :)

I'm glad you got to spend time with your loved one! but yes, I totally know that feeling of having to say goodbye.. I get to see my husband in about three weeks (just for four days) and I am both, excited and dreading the goodbye. All trips are different, but when he had to leave the day after we got married I cried myself to sleep for days. I can't believe you've been in a LDR for four years! I don't think I'd have it in me, you're so strong. Thank you for the positive vibes and thoughts, it means the world, really <3

You have a friend in me, forever!

Hi!  My NOA2 date was April 19 and I found out May 9 that NVC received the package May 8 (I called).  About a week later I called for the NVC case number and the Invoice number.  With those I was able to login to the CEAC site but at that point I was not yet able to pay any fees.  On May 18 I received the official e-mail from NVC (I guess it took them time to get the system updated) and that is when I was able to click to pay fees.  I used a lawyer so I did not have to fill out the DS-261.
