Apparently, they are on first week of January.  Hopefully in two weeks, you might hear something.

Good Luck!

I saw an approval for December 28 few weeks ago than a January one too so I am guessing our time should be near by.

did you get NVC checklist yet?

Hi!

My I-130 was approved on April 19th (snail mail notification came much before case updated online) but the file did not leave for NVC until May 1 or 2 and they received it May 8.  I got the NVC number by calling on May 16.   I received the actual welcome letter with checklist in my e-mail on May 18 and because I used an attorney I did not have to fill in a DS-261.  I was able to submit payment for both the AOS fee and the IV fee on May 18 via the CEAC site.

Hello fellow filers!

My wife filed our I-130 January 27th, received the NOA1 about a week later but haven't heard a thing yet.

Our case was sent to Nebraska service centre who I believe are still backed up to October 2016 😔 Not sure why it went there when it was initially sent from Texas.

Fingers crossed they speed things up!

My wife lives in Texas and I live in England. Does anybody know how long the process should "roughly" take once it is finally sent over to the UK?

Also any suggestions on the best website to keep an eye on processing times as the uscis website seems to never get updated.

It's so sad that the government can seperate our family's for so long 😔

I would be sincerely greatful for any help or advice.

Thank you!!!

I filed for I-130 on Jan 19th and received my NOA-1 within week or so. It's been almost 4 months now but so far I haven't got NOA-2 yet. My wife is in India and she has B2 visa, I was wondering if somone can tell me if she can visit me for few weeks or not. Any response would be appreciated.

Hi im new here.  I just returned from my 3rd visit to see my husband in the US. Wife should have no problems once she is honest about her trip such as length of stay. I never presented any proof but i always travelled with my work documents from HR stating how many days im off and my expected resumption at work.  Hope that helps

My husband and i ensure that we see each every month. I know that won't be possible for everyone but try to see each often to build those memories.

Hello all!, I am new here but I've been reading up on many people's journeys

I have not seen this topic for Spouse, So I decided to create one. If for some reason I have missed a thread on this topic that exists, please let me know. Thanks

Here's my info so far

I-130 mailed on 1/19/2017

I-130 received on 1/20/2017

waiting for NOA1

Please share so we can support one another throughout this journey!!

Hi im new and im loving the info here just so sorry i got Nebraska😢

My husband also lives in Texas and we got sent to Nebraska, who knows how it works?

Also it's the service center with more cases/ back long so we are looking at longer waiting periods which is just plain unfair. We filed the same paperwork, we paid the same fees, why do we have to wait longer to reunite with our loved ones? but it is what it is.

I'm 4 months in, thankfully I get to see my husband ever 2-3 months which isn't too awful.

I just can't believe I have around 3 more months :( before I hear back from them

Hey everyone!

Still no good news from me yet... But anxiously checking every single day as I feel like we MUST be close at this stage!! Can't wait for someone to be approved! Im rooting for every person going through this arduous process.

Booked my flights for the summer, I'll be spending just over 7 weeks in the states with my husband. July 3rd can't come soon enough!! Hopefully while im away we will be sending off our NVC docs and close to the end of this crazy long journey. Oh yeh, and buying a house!!! Exciting stuff.

Anyone else got plans to go out to their loved one soon?? Hope you're all well!

Hey! Im in the UK too! :) Not sure how long it all takes once the stuff is sent to London embassy, as far as I can tell from this forum it really just depends when the embassy have an open slot for your interview. Some people from London embassy have had interviews scheduled very quickly and others have received dates a month or two after they get approval from NVC. It's another waiting game and luck of the draw it seems!

Best way to get an accurate idea on how long youll be expecting to wait for approval from USCIS is to update your timeline on this website. They pull info from members and try to predict a timeframe... Although it does change quite often! At one point it was predicting my approval to be start of may and now that has passed and it's looking more like beginning of June. Log your info into the timeline and see what it says :)

Awww nooo! Have you had a good time?? I know 7 weeks is a lot, I appreciate how lucky I am to get that amount of time with him. I work in a school so we get a long break for the summer and it allows me to travel thankfully.

Safe travels home. It won't be too much longer before you're making a one way trip out to the states for good! :)

Enjoy your vacay. I just got back from US but hubby is planning to visit me in June and July his job is way more flexible. We ensure that we see each other every month i he does two consecutive trips then i take a trip and we have developed that system. I wish you get you NOA2 and start NVC process before your vacay is over because doing those paperwork is another bonding experience. Have lots of fun and create lasting memories.

Thank you so much!!

Ive added all our info to the timeline and have an estimate for the end of august- beginning of September so fingers crossed!!

Yay another Brit! 😁

After all the research I've done it seems the process speeds way up once it is sent over to the UK.

We are so happy to have found this website, there is so much more info here to help us on our journey as uscis seem to never update anything. It's horrible so many family's are split whilst simply waiting on paperwork 😒

Good luck on your journey, and thank you for your help.

I'll be checking back here for any updates regularly!!

November 4, 2016 Received text case sent to Nebraska

November 10, 2016 Received Hard copy of NOA1
