It's been four months since I got married, three of those months since we started the process. A total of eight months long distance so far.

I know we have at least 3 more months to go, but some days are just rougher than others.

Let's stay sane together <3 I wish every one of you a stable, fast (as fast as possible) process.

we're now on 9 months of marriage and 3 months of this immigration thing...I can't wait for it to be over. I'm currently en route to have our annual beach vacation in Charleston. so I hope when I return home at the end of this month  we'll be closer to a noa2

111 days till I see hubby again. Last saw him early January :(

He'll be coming here to Singapore this time though! We're both very excited, and I want him to try all the food! We're also really hoping to see the NOA2 soon so we can start making tentative plans to fly back to the states together. I'll be taking my cat with me, so I'd need to get that paperwork done too.

13-Mar-18 - POE

27-Apr-18 - Green card received

13-Jan-20 - Mailed out I-751 packet

15-Jan-20 - NOA date

12-Feb-20 - Biometrics appt completed; Status: Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken

07-Oct-20 - Case ready to be scheduled for interview

06-Jul-21 - Interview scheduled

100 days this Sunday since NOA1 for us...

I just had my husband here with me for a whole wonderful week (damn time flies by way too fast) and i'll be flying to California in just 62 days for about a month :-)

The waiting game is a hell of a ride !

Though, things are unfolding :

I just sold my place (that I will leave by mid October).

I have hired the guy you will pursue my business and contracts, but the work part is really not easy to deal with time wise !

If only we could get our NOA2 sometimes in June, this will really feel good, the USCIS stage (and the lack hearing/seeing anything move) is such a pain in the butt!

Year of 2017, how do we have a love/hate relationship with you!

Are you expecting to move by mid-October? That's what we are hoping for as well!

I'd love to! But that seems unlikely... i've managed to negotiate with the buyers of my place to occupy it until mid October.

I'll crash at friends after that, for the remainder of my time here.

I have a feeling that the big move will happen around Thanksgiving, I've sort of set my mind around that date.

Greetings from Charleston!

going through immigration was easy, he asked what I came to do and if I had plans to immigrate soon, while peeping at his computer screen. And the crazy thing is he said "I know how frustrating the process can be" . I took from it that we had common ground lol. happy weekend! xxx

Where was your POE?

A lot of international airports have automated kiosks now.

Last February, I went through one and then got stamped by a CPB officer right afterwards (who doesn't have to scan the passport), it's much faster and raises a LOT less questions.

Oh, and happy vacation time!

I came in through Philly, I think my last automated was Detroit. I didn't see them at Philly I was hoping to be able to use one of those.

Thank you!!!

Hi everyone. I just returned home from visiting my husband in Dublin for a week after eight months apart and, after six years of doing this dreadful back and forth thing, am looking for support while we wait for our NOA2. Our I-130 was received on 1/31/2017 and I'm hoping the end of this month or beginning of next will be full of good news! Glad I found this thread. :D
