Hi All,

Just a quick timeline (I can't seem to update the VJ one-keeps sending me to something else):

01/14/2017-AOS package sent to Chicago Lockbox (Form I-130, Form I-485, Form I-765 and Form I-131)

01/18/2017-Package delivered and signed for via Fedex confirmation

01/26/2017-NOA received from USCIS (status online)

02/02/2017-Notice for biometrics scheduled for 02/13/2017

02/13/2017-Biometrics completed

02/22/2017-RFE for 2015 Tax Transcript (we had already sent this in initial AOS package!!!)-case on hold till we respond-online status

02/24/2017-RFE response sent via Fedex

02/25/2017-RFE delivered to USCIS via Fedex confirmation

03/01/2017-RFE response accepted by USCIS -case resumed-online status

03/31/2017-Interview scheduled for 05/08/2017-Kansas City office

No doubt we are very excited for the interview coming up, however I'm concerned about the EAD. I have had to turn down interviews and an offer because of this. It's frustrating feeling stuck. Should I be worried about the EAD here??

P.S If any of you can shed some light on what to expect in interview at Kansas (although I doubt we need to stress as we are the real deal. I suppose I'm just nervous because my husband's memory for stuff like "what color are your bedroom curtains?" is totally unreliable..haha!) I would really appreciate it. Also, has anyone been questioned about overstay?

it's refreshing to have a new good spirited join the group! I can honestly say we're a bunch of helpful individual in this group.

I'm curious, what are you guys planning to do with this immigration year?

I can't visit my husband but he comes for a few days every 2-3 months. I'm working in different cities in Mexico (I'm a tattoo artist)

saving up all that I can and traveling to a few countries, usually by myself. Not ideal, but trying to keep myself distracted and

make the most of it.

I love being surrounded by positive energy and helping others whenever I can well. I know it's a rough process and we can all feel discouraged/hopeless at times, but knowing we're not alone makes me feel so much better. You seem like such a great group!

that's AWESOME!

I'm taking a trip to Thailand myself, but in September. You'll have to tell me all about it!

England I'm so jealous, I love it there. Skype definitely helps :)

New processing timeliness are out. Potomac is supposedly at the first of October but they've been processing November as well and I did see the first December approval for Potomac.

Well that's a pleasantly surprising update lol. Feels like Potomac is barely moving at all so at least its good to see that behind the scenes there is progress. I guess there just weren't a lot of members who applied in Oct/nov/Dec that are still active on this site because there haven't been many recent approvals for Potomac! My poor wee timeline hasn't been able to give me a projected approval date in weeks :P

Also hello new forum posters - you're more than welcome in my books :)

I'm still in the states with my husband at the minute but i go back home on Saturday... Nooo! Sometimes the thought of just staying is so tempting but 100% not worth risking our future. Hey, i can be a badass in my imagination at least.

hellllooooo! yeah the progress does not look positive but I do believe that majority of the filers are not on VJ, I compared the amount of pending cases found in the IOS case tracker app, so I've decided to stay on VJ for the community rather than the predictions. 3 more weeks then I go visit my wife, time to hit the beach for 4 days in Charleston where we got married and then we go back to cincinnati where she works. Enjoy your days together and believe me my wife has often joked about not letting me go back but knowing me and my legal background I don't dare to anything that would compromise the status lol.

Hi Everyone!  I enjoy checking out the VJ forums as reading many of your comments makes me feel not so alone.  I am a USC and I married my Belizean husband this past November.  We both live here in Belize where I am a teacher.  I am relocating to the states this summer and we hope he won't be far behind but we do realize we will have some months apart.  My I-130 priority date is January 4.  Waiting can be very difficult especially when trying to make plans for the future but once this process is all done it will be worth it.  Good luck to everyone in this waiting/paperwork game and I hope we all get some approvals sooner rather than later! :)

welcome! thank you, lots of luck to you as well! we're "almost" there😊. Waiting is a tough thing but luckily we learn patience and it makes you appreciate the physical time spend with your spouse even more.
