But of course ;-)

Hey, do you know what would be really helping too?

Can you fill up your timeline? It really helps to keep the statistics up-to-date for everyone,

Thanks!

I'm not sure if a case from The Philippines can distort the statistics, somehow, cases from there show an awesome speed in the process, I don't know why, but the incidence is quite high. Of course I'm so happy for all of them, I'm just commenting the incidence.

Congratulations @GheC!! You are now moving onto the NVC. There are a lot of great resources on this site that will give you all the information you need about what documents to collect and how to submit them. I recommend reading this -- http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process

and this ---http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/James's_Shortcuts

and from the State Department, this -- https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/approved/contact.html

Lastly, the NOA2 looks a lot like the NOA1, it's just printed on nicer paper. It basically says your case was approved. :) You want to hold onto it, but its not really asked for/needed later on in the process. Your next step is assembling your financial documents for AOS and your supporting documents for the IV application. You should be prepared to call the NVC in about 1 week -- to see if they have received your case yet. Sometimes service centers are a little slow forwarding on cases, so don't be surprised if they say they haven't gotten it yet. Once they (NVC) have your case, they take up to 2 weeks to assign you a new NVC case number. For the rest of the steps, please read the guides.

**Also** NVC call center is a bit of a mess.... sometimes you will have to call 10-15 times in one day to get through. You will then likely be on hold for 20 minutes or more. Just know that if you can't get through, to keep trying in 5-10 minutes.

I am sure they picked up my case on 3/23/2017 and worked on it. Sometimes they do not go by the priority date like some case get approved earlier than others. This is my 3rd time filing for my wife. I filed i-129F twice last year. The first one was denied because i send the file to uscis before i met my fiancee and the second one was approved and she was denied visas at the usa embassy in Ghana and they wanted to send the case back so NVC for correction so we can file i-130 for them to give he visas but they said the petition would expire by the time NVC gets it back so they closed the case and ask as to file i-130. This is the third time they had received our documents so i think it will go faster as we included the letter for denial from the embassy that explain why the 2nd I-129f was denied for visas aT the interview to the documents we send out

Again the wait time is 5-6 months for I 130 and the same for I 229f. They issue them at the same time so it's useless to file I 129f.

I only filed I-129F twice last year but not this time because i was not married by that time. The first I-129F i filed last year 2016 february was denied because i filed before meeting my fiancee as required to meet within two years before you can file I-129F. I then file another I-129F after they denied the first one in June 2016 and was approved but when my fiancee went for the visas  interview she was denied visas because they said we are engaged and they asked us to file I-130 because by the time they send the I-129F back to NVC in usa for correction the petition will be expired so they closed the case and gave my wife a letter stating why she was denied and what to file again so i included the letter in the I-130 documents i send this year. I check my case now and it says it was last updated on 3/25/2017 meaning they picked up my case again. My priority date is 2/17/2017

Every time you check it changes the updated day, not because they looked at your file,

That is wrong. I check it ones in a while but the Last Updated date remain the same until today.I checked it yesterday 3/24/17 and today 3/25/2017 but the last updated date is 3/23/2017.The last time it was updated was 2/17/2017 which is my priority date. I didnt check it on 3/23/2017 but it says last updated on 3/23/2017. The last updated date on uscis case check can only be changed my uscis after they update your case
