Hello all hoping everyone going smooth on their process, my wife still waiting for the interview to schedule. My case was complete on 25th of december and we are currently on our 5th weeks of waiting. I call nvc today and was told it up to 11 weeks for them to reviews but they say normally it doesn't take that long. Hope it will be soon for interview.

hello January filers i am currently a July filers but had a question that maybe one of you can answer i'm hoping maybe someone in this group has had the thing happen. yesterday i got an update on my husband's i-130 and it says that is was sent to my local office? which means it was not approved yet but that they transferred it maybe due to being so busy ? but anyways has this happen to anyone ? if so how long til you finally heard something i am told i may need an interview which i just do not get why. my husband is in the states. thank you !!!

Sounds like you filed AOS too right? If that is the case then it is normal. It means your case was transferred to the local uscis office where your husband lives in the states. that is where his interview will be conducted.

Looking at your timeline, it seems like the beneficiary's visa will be processed at Juarez, Mexico Consulate if petition is approved. I personally think your case was simply transferred to a local USCIS office for processing and it is normal. It will be adjudicated when its turn comes. Relax, you are well within the expected timeline for processing.

Good luck guys!! Sending out nothing but ➕ vibes. ☘☘☘ Let us know how the interview went.

I was just looking at your timeline and was surprised to see that you got your NOA1 in Feb. I can't believe it took that long between receiving that and having your interview. Is that the norm or did you have any issues to smooth out? I'm still waiting for my NOA1 and really hope it won't be several months to make it to that stage. I'm 382 days and counting.

We forgot his police record, of

all things, which ended up causing delay. It was about a five week delay.

Oh no! At least you're nearly at the finish line now, but I feel ya. I've been delayed because of a document as well. Very frustrating isn't it. All the best. ☺

Yay! That's so great to hear! Congratulations you two. 🎉 What happens next? Do they give him the visa at the interview?

Thank you!!! No they don’t. They mail a big envelope to him with a visa, but he CANNOT open it. He has to give it to the IO in customs at the airport when he leaves to come here.
