Alright Ladies and Gents,

San Francisco, California, Here I am !

Today marked the day I was approved for a CR-1 visa, so my husband and I can finally start our life together, full time :-)

The interview process was fast, well, organized, easy and extremely friendly. When I think that I've just spend an entire weekend freaking out and meticulously preparing a big portfolio will all the bona fide material imaginable, I didn't even have to open it!

My beloved husband will arrive here on the 22nd so we can spend Xmas and New year's with friends and family, then 2 romantic days in Paris, then flying to the US together, JAN 4th on our first anniversary, no less!

In one word : WOOOOOOOOTTTT, yay :-)

Hi guys, I’m looking for a document I can’t seem to access anymore. I believe it was on the US state department website, you would get to a page with all the steps to take until the interview and one of these pages had the instructions to gather the package for the interview. On this page, you would select your embassy (mine is Paris) and it would link to a PDF page with tons of info.

I’m looking for this PDF but can’t seem to find it.

Thabks for your help!

look for the prepare for interview section, can be found on the USCIS website as well, that's where all the steps are mentioned.

Woohoo! Wonderful news! That's how fast it SHOULD be! My interview was on the same day but I'm still waiting for my status to turn to issued.... I can see they're clearly doing something to my file because the case last updated date changes but no status change as of yet! I'm due to fly on the 15th so let's hope they get a move on 😂

Well my fingers are crossed for you!!

You should have it by then though, thats over 2 weeks.

Here's hoping for something in the coming days!

@MrsRP were you able to locate the link to the interview instructions for Paris? If not see the new link to the page with all the cities:

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/list-of-posts.html

and for Paris specifically, the link to the pdf page is:

https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/iv-dv-supplemental/PRS_Paris.pdf

Hope this helps.

...do good and good will be done onto you...

What a wonderful day...My case is completed in NVC yesterday and pending scheduling interview. Is there any way to expedite interview?

Unless there's a life threatening situation on your sponsor's side I believe you will just have to wait this out as well. Congratulations🍾

Congrats to those January peeps who have been approved and had interviews!!

I am indeed jealous, very jealous for you all in the best way.

I am so emotionally spent on this whole process and would love for it to be over, the struggle has been real. I will finally have the checklist complete this Monday.
