Alrighty people,

Today is the 6th week that our documents have been received, so I went ahead and called the NVC.

I just talked to a very pleasant guy who could confirm our case was received on September 12th, then his tone changed (with a happy/excited accent to it) saying that he could see that it is currently under review! :-)

He then added that the maximum review time was 11 weeks, but that it would hopefully be faster since it was being processed at the moment.

This short conversation has given me a lot of hope :-)

it's only been 6 weeks since my scan  date, so I'm hoping soon.

Good Luck Yeonin. Our case took exactly 6 weeks to be reviewed, But I received an email for the checklist. My hubby's birth certificate apparently was missing. I highly doubt it since I'm sure I included the copy and the translation but what could I do. So second scan date is October 2nd. Waiting patiently :)

thank you! ik sorry to hear that you had received a RFE, I hope they give you CC soon. They tend to rid documents and unfortunately we get to suffer for it. I'm hoping I do not receive a RFE. But anyhow I don't think I'll get an interview for next month because this month is almost over. hereby asking the universe to quickly work it's magic in both of our cases 🤗😁💫 lol

Hello all, I am from canada and my husband submitted an i-130 application in January of this year and our priority date is Jan 3rd. We have not been able to check our case status at all this whole time but they do say that it is in there and they are working at it. We are at the nebraska center so it is very worrisome when we see others who submitted after us get approved applications, is there anyone out there like this?

same here..PD  jan 3rd..still waiting

While I am sorry to hear that I am glad we're not alone. My husband spoke with a customs officer today and they said we should hear something within the next 30 days, hopefully they're right

So tomorrow marks 9 months or 274 days since my husband's petition for me was received by USCIS. I am officially at a lost. If you had asked the then January  me what I would be doing now I would have responded getting ready for my interview🤣. Well today I'm completely broken by this process and my heart goes out to those still waiting from 2016. I am just now looking forward for my vacay in 2 weeks. Hopefully I return rejuvenated and ready to continue to fight the good immigration fight. I wish all waiting a speedy approval. Have a good night and a good rest of the week and a f####g awesome weekend.  Hope we all can be with our loved ones soon. One love y'all.
