Quick question since we are in the same service center mine should also be approved soon congrats to yall, If the case is approved now how much more you think you have to wait for embassy interview? thinking on going to US to spend the holidays in US so thinking, what do you think?

After you submit documents .o NVC and you get case closed which is normally 11 weeks from they receive the documents they then go ahead and schedule interview about a month or two away. So I'm thinking in 4 to 5 months depending oh how fast you gather documents and submit and also pay the required fees once they become available.

Hello my good people, hope you are doing well. I'm doing ok myself, trying to adjust to the Dutch autumn...i wasn't looking forward to being here but anywhooo...i'll manage. No CC news from me yet but it's been an interesting week...i called NVC out of boredom 3 times to have them tell me review takes 11 weeks in total..one lady was like hmmmm...september...october...november...24th of November the latest you will hear something...got me confused because we were told the docs were sent to the review department on 10/10. So fast forward we called yesterday and the lady said...she could see that the documents have been viewed...but she can't say if they were reviewed...but they're allowed up to 11 weeks so yeah. 😝.

My wife will be here in 18 days and then we're off to Paris to celebrate her 40th bday and then she's back off to work in Illinois. So atleast I have 5 fun days in November to look forward to.

Have a great weekend.

So awesome to have those precious times together. I'm looking forward to my 15 days this November in the US with hubby.

I hope before your vacation you get CC. That will make it extra special. Good luck to you both.

absolutely precious 😊. I'm sure you will enjoy your time as well. At this point in this proces I'm pretty mellow because it's been a long road already I've gotten used to the wait. And taking into account all the upcoming holidays, I'm not betting on a interview soon. Have a blessed sunday 💚

Hey guys, few weeks ago, we got an RFE, dad and I decided to have a DNA to give  a heavy weigh to the additional documents we submitted. Two questions:

1. Anyone with an idea the total time this will take from start upto sending to Potomac service centre?

2. Since bonafides for parent-child relationship have been sent, Is it mandatory that they wait for DNA arrival before approving the petition since they normally say it's optional or there's possibility of  approving before the DNA gets to them?

This coming Tuesday, it'll be 6 weeks for us. I haven't called yet, but I plan on doing it tomorrow.

I was really hoping that they're move forward and was (naïvely) expecting the interview by mid-december. We have postponed my husband's visit (usually thanksgiving) to a month later, in order to spend Xmas with my family.

In my dreamt world of Care Bears, we will be flying back together to the US to celebrate my official entry and 2018 new year's... But now I have serious doubt. I feel like this won't happen within that time frame, which sucks because I have to rent that airBnB maybe for another month.

I admire your optimism. I'm not down by any means, but this is really starting to feel very very ###### long... and I'm sick of always answering the same to all these people, who have no idea how long and tedious this process is.

I just want to be 2 months older.

I think my mom is the only one that doesn't mind me saying "we're not there yet". She's so scared of everything that's happening in the states at the moment. And I'm like wellll  I'm ready to GO! 🤣

I'm aiming at hearing something this week as well... the universe must come through for us this week💫. The upcoming  holidays are making it less an option to officially move before the end of this year.

I died laughing at you wanting to be two months older 🤣 too freakinfunny!

Hello all, I am from canada and my husband submitted an i-130 application in January of this year and our priority date is Jan 3rd. We have not been able to check our case status at all this whole time but they do say that it is in there and they are working at it. We are at the nebraska center so it is very worrisome when we see others who submitted after us get approved applications, is there anyone out there like this?

First review took 6 weeks and then second took 8 weeks. My attorney missed a document so I received a checklist.

What did you miss?

Did you give police certificate?

Hi All,

Friendly  advise.

If any one of you has received a RFE for whatever reason either before NOA2 or CC please do share in this group what it was for. You might very well be helping out someone else.

If it's something that can/will compromise someone's legal status/safety please by all means keep that a secret, but in general we're all in the same boat so sharing would absolutely be caring.

Thank you.
