I got approved on Oct 2. I just had recieved in mail that is approved . Online shows still N0A1 that we recieved your petition but i have recived N0A2 in mail saying its approved on Oct 2 ( Arrvied in mail today Oct 5)

APPROVAL DATE OCT 2 2017 NOA1

I received an RFE. I have 2 questions -

 

They request ORIGINAL marriage certificate..... is this normal / okay ?

 

Bonafied relationship - How do you guys send logs from whatspp ? take screen shots (which is time consuming) or export to text then copy to word and select chats overtime and send ?

How do you send call logs from phone ? send print out of phone bills ? filtered to my spouse's number ?

the initial requirement is copies of all civil documents, but I wouldn't know why they're now asking for an original document. where is your spouse from if I may ask?

 

Do you have pictures taken with here, emails, you can screenshot your conversations, phonelogs . You can send your WhatsApp conversation to your email if you click on the three dots eight upper corner in the conversation and choose option "more".

India. My service center is CSC. I sent a copy of document but now it says ORIGINAL marriage certificate. I haven't heard about this.

 

So exporting whatsapp conversations to text and then selecting and sending will be fine ?

From another thread, these are the following centers who are eligible for CEAC processing:

 

Buenos Aires,  Frankfurt,  Hong Kong, Montreal, Rio De Janeiro, Sydney. 

 

It is relatively new, there are a number of consulates that also have e-mail processing.

Hello all,

I've just received NOA2 approval by mail . uscis case status hasn't been updated yet.

I've changed my address twice and it didn't cause any delays.

 

Is there anything I can do now before the NVC receive my petition?

 

Priority date: 01/17/2017

NOA2 date: 10/03/2017

About 6 months worth of pay stubs as well as a letter from Human Resources verifying employment and income.

Congrats to all January filers. You all give me hope. My hubby was here for a week and we got to celebrate his bday.  He is back in US now but on work assignment so will not be hope until next weekend.  I hope that when he gets home our NOA2 will be in the mail waiting.  Chin everyone there seems to be movement for us January filers and I pray it continues.  I also pray and wish those waiting will be given approvals soon.  Good luck to all waiting.

I'm right there with @Longingfor. Y'all are giving us some hope. Seeing those approvals creep closer and closer to the end of January and towards our PD makes me feel like a kid at Christmas. Here's hoping October is a good month for us. It's my birthday month and Autumn is the loveliest time of year.

We're at 4 weeks since the scan date, I'm hesitating on calling them... I'm making a bet on the timeline and aim at leaving for good right after Christmas, fingers crossed!

I received a case complete in 8 weeks from the second scan date. First round they reviewed my case within 6 weeks.

haven't heard anything back yet, I've hit the 4th week as well and will be calling this week...lets just do it!lol
