My wife had her interview this morning and her Visa was approved.  Feeling very fortunate.  If you are lucky enough to attend a consulate that uses CEAC processing it will speed the NVC phase up exponentially.  Good luck to everyone and I hope for approvals for everyone as fast as possible.

Awesome, Congrats!!! :dancing:

Is there away to know if a consulate uses CEAC?

...do good and good will be done onto you...

Hello guys, here is my story..in need of some advice. My dad filled i-130 on april 18th. I got an rfe on 27th September asking for evidence of Father-child. Here is the situation. My dad never married my mum, he married someone else but he has been supportive financially.. Paid for all my tution fee all the way up to campus. Something else is, his name was never included in my birth cert. Infact.. My mum raised me by herself so.. No one else's name was written as my father. I need massive ideas how we can handle this. I'd really appreciate all your contributions coz I so much want an approval on my i-130.

Thanks

https://www.uscis.gov/family/family-us-citizens/children/bringing-children-sons-and-daughters-live-united-states-permanent-residents please read this page, in your case you must show emotional/financial bond between you and your dad since there's no legal document to proof this. Also think of sworn affidavits from your mother and other close family members. Good luck!

Ask your mom if she has correspondence from your dad or if he has any from here. If so you can make copies and submit. Also if you received birthday cards from him you can copy and submit. If he sent funds to your mom hopefully she has receipts or account records. If he attended any functions such as graduation. Any thing to show that you guys kept in touch would be an assest.

Has anyone used affidavit of support for I-864EZ part 5 question 4 speaks to current individual annual income. Would an employment letter provide that information or would it be found on pay advice. Hubby is not quite too sure. We have completed the form but just unsure of where to get the info needed for that particulat question.

Good for you. I am so very frustrated though because our priority date is December 21, 2016 and still nothing ...

And we introduced the file from Belgium.

We provided both.

About 6 months worth of pay stubs as well as a letter from Human Resources verifying employment and income.

Hope that helps
