I agree with @Binna Binna I know it is frustrating getting an interview date that's 1-2 months ahead, but please do think of us trapped in Nebraska, 8-10 months in and still waiting for an approval, uncertain of what's going on. I'd do anything to know my interview is in a few months, as many people I'm sure would.

Count your blessings, you're almost out of the woods! congratulations.

any update for January fillers in nabraska ?it is hell waiting without no update

Officially they're still working on December cases, although they have many November filers left behind. The problem isn't only that, but they don't seem to be working in a straight line month by month, they jump around approving a few November-December-January-February even March! cases. I really don't know what's going on.

I think there are some lazy adjudicators who hold onto cases longer than others....  its country based...

e.g. i have been noticing people from DR in Texas getting approval the fastest... Pakistan on the other hand was over 200 days in TSC

Well ... I filed on December 21st for my husband. He is Belgian and we have been married for 20 years. Our children are US citizens. And we are all re-locating back from Belgium to the US. Our file went to "infamous" Nebraska and it's like a black hole.

I see people who are getting their Noa2 before us and even interviews. It's very disconcerting ...

this is sad to hear if they are jumping from one month to another back and front ,when we called ,they told us they are processing Dec 9 ,at another time they will told  us Nov ,so we are confused and tired of why nabraska are taking  more  than 9months to approve these cases,

If anyone could provide a number to call leading to a real human being and not an automated system, that would be very helpful ...

hi, NVC best to call in the morning between 8-9am and at night around 10-11 PM. I've never had to wait for more than maybe 10 minutes at these times. If the automated voice doenst cut off the call please hold then it's not overly busy.

I see folks here complaining that their interview date is too far at the same time there are folks in same Jan filers group that have not gotten NOA2... Guys, seriously though, you should really be happy and content that you have an interview date, imagine if you are in the shoes of your fellow Jan filers that haven't seen NOA2, what would you be saying instead?

Please and please just suck it up and be glad you got an interview date and you are almost seeing finish line.

Hey, I appreciate the feedback, no matter who it was intended for.

Please understand that this group is for everyone's journey. We are a family.

We come here to encourage, to vent, to complain, to congratulate, and whatever else is on our hearts at the moment.

While it is never anyone's intention to be inconsiderate or hurt anyone's feelings (i'm assuming), we have to understand that we are all experiencing our own individual paths and should be able to express our feelings along the way.

That said, we all should be empathetic to one another. So please, while you don't want anyone to complain about interview, they should not be made to feel bad for expressing themselves.

I am deeply sorry for all those still waiting for NOA2. I can't imagine how I'd be coping with that. Stay strong and stay close so that we can remain one another's support.

Much love to all Jan filers and anyone else playing the biggest waiting game known to man (and woman)!!

I am still waiting to hear from USCIS / Nebraska ... not NVC ...

in any case better to call as soon as the office hours start in your case also at 8am, wether it's NVC or USCIS. Those are the quiet times and be prepared to wait a few if minutes.

It would be quite interesting to see what you've got to say rather if your NOA1 is in Nov 2016 and still waiting for your NOA2 meanwhile someone Jan 2017 is ranting about their interview. But then guess we shall never know coz you are never going to be in that exact shoes as it seems today.

...do good and good will be done onto you...

It seems that you may be interested in an argument, i'm not.

I actually mentioned that I can't imagine how I would handle if I was still waiting, nor would I like to find out.

My only reason for commenting was to express my empathy, as well to remind us all that we are not any another's shoes.

We should not ask any other to suppress their feelings about THEIR own process.

Simply that.

I wish you, and everyone else the best. I also hope for no hard feelings. :)

You are right there arguing with me and yet claiming that you aren't arguing. Well if you could come on here to tell that I am wrong with comments then surely you are arguing.

Anyways, I really wish I am in your shoes and I know you don't wanna be in mine.... so enjoy it and be happy. I wish you all the best in your interview and I pray that the rest of us waiting for NOA2 will continue to be strong while we wait to get to that day where we shall actually know our interview date..

There's no point taking your anger out on other people here. We all have to stick together. It sucks waiting and we all empathize with those who still are. Equally - when people who have done the wait and spent their journey with others on this thread - we should be happy for them that their wait is finally over and this should be a space for them to express their joy! They are also allowed to express frustrations just as you are allowed to express frustration about waiting. It's all part of the process.

I think look at some of your own words of wisdom for yourself - count your blessings! You are on this journey and yes it's a long one but there are people waiting even longer (like 10+ years) to get a family visa or people who are trying in the lottery and failing or people who can't even get a visa!!! If you are in here for a spouse visa you are on the fastest route! Even if it's taking a little longer - you will reach your goal :) and we will be here to celebrate when you do and pick you up when you are down. But try not to attack others. It's frustrating for us all in all different senses.
