Hi Christina,

My husband and I just recently traveled to the US from Australia a couple months ago without any issue. I called USCIS before hand they said they didn't see any issues with it, but recommended we called Boarder Patrol/Customs (forgot what the official name is) as they are the ones receiving us at the airport. We called and the hold time was insane so we hung up and just took the risk. We brought documents proving our return to Australia just as a back up, but never needed it.

Hello everyone, I don't if this true or not someone in feb got approved from nebraska? Shouldn't it process by month?

hi Lauren,

congratulations on getting the interview date.

i have a question. how long after you submitted the affidavit of support and all the other checklist forms that you received your interview date?

my police certificate for my Fiance took longer than expected and i am afraid that there will be a delay. i sent my documents on 9/15.

thanks again

hello zain,

after your approval, how many days did it take to get a invitation letter from NVC? and then to collect documents etc?

I am getting anxious.. I got approved 15 days back and still nothing from NVC

You got approved as in you got your NOA2?

You can call up and ask for your case number etc. Then fill out your DS261 choice of agent form with that. You don't have to wait for the official letter / email before doing so. Also if you give them your email when you call up they will email you the info which is always faster than post (well in most cases).

Thanks Pat&Vince and Liz92.

The wait for NOA2 is excruciatingly long ... My husband has travelled to the US a couple of times so far without issues.

My question is more about travel to the US once we are in the next phase (NVC) of the process. And yes, we are filing IRC1 via the consular procedure.

Thanks !

So I got some good needs today! When they got my case they spell my name incorrectly so my husband called and they said until someone takes the case the name will be updated, so today finally got the email saying I have the name corrected and my case now says is
¨Your Case Status: Initial Review ¨ I am really really Happy This Morning! Thank God! Got the NOA1 on Jan 10/2017
