Congrats! Absolutely fantastic news. I think you must be the first Jan filer in the thread to actually have completed the whole process!! Woohooo!! :wub: Jan filers time to shine :jest:

Good luck to you and your husband!

Thank you!  Yes time for more January filers to be approaching the finish line! :)

I called NVC, got through immediately. They confirmed that our case is complete as of today!!

He said we will receive an email informing us of our interview date. When we receive that depends on how many cases are ahead of us at the embassy. The embassy will inform NVVC how many appts they have open and the NVC will assign an interview date.

Hoping to hear something within the next few days. :D

This is my first time posting in this forum, but I've been a long time lurker!  My wife's I-130 petition is at the Nebraska Service Center, still waiting...I don't have much to say other than that this wait is getting really depressing.  Seeing people get through the whole process knowing that I'm still at least 6 months out because of dumb bad luck really sucks.  Don't get me wrong, I'm super happy for the people who got it approved and get to be with their significant others!  It just is a terrible feeling having to be away from my wife for what seems like an unreasonably long time.  I feel so powerless to do anything.  Do we have any clues as to why the average wait times have doubled in the last year?  I keep checking the USCIS wait times and the last 3 months they have only moved like three and a half weeks...

I don't know really why I'm posting this, I suppose I just needed to vent to people who understand my frustration.  I'm tired of having to explain to people why my wife isn't here yet, it gets so disheartening having to explain over and over again and having to push out my estimate of when she will move here back month after month.

We all absolutely understand what you are going through. This is really taking longer than expected. I also filed the beginning of January and just now submitted my paperwork. Looks like this could take a few months longer, but hang in there. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Stay strong my fellow January filer.

Yes it has taken very long to me those kind of estimates are only to try and not make it seem that long. But those are my stats 😓

USCIS's website says the average wait time is 302 days.  About double what it has been the last three years.  It's nuts.

Posted this in the scan date group but you guys are my homies - Jan 2017 filers from start to finish 😂😂😂 sooo we were expecting a checklist because we thought we would have income problems and would be asked to get a joint sponsor but I just logged into ceac and status has changed to AT NVC and aos payment has disappeared soooo loooks like signs of a CC ?!?!?! Can anyone confirm this - is it still possible it will change back and we will get a checklist?? Don't wanna get too excited before knowing but at the moment even a gust of wind on the site gets me ecstatic 😂😂

our scan date was August 9th and possible case complete today ?! (Sep 21st)

Congrats!!!! Sometimes you may still get a checklist after CC but it's something pretty minor that they just want you to bring along to the interview. I can't imagine it would be anything as big as financial evidence though so I'd say you must be clear!

The wait for the interview date to come through is not an easy one, let me tell ya! I've been checking my emails hundreds of times a day since we got CC on Friday! Still no sign of a date yet, im hoping it'll come through soon... im too excited I just need to know now when the big day is!

Some people get interview dates within a day or two, others it can take weeks... hopefully we both hear soon!

My heart honestly does go out to you. I often think about how unfair and cruel the process is, especially for those that get stuck in the super slow service centers. It absolutely isn't right and shouldn't be allowed to happen. Happiness shouldn't be based on luck of the draw. I can only imagine how soul crushing the whole thing is at this stage. USCIS "wait times" are renowned for being a load of rubbish... Im almost positive I've seen approvals from December for Nebraska on the forum very recently, I know that isn't much help but HOPEFULLY it means you guys are soon! And luckily the next stage of being at NVC goes a damn lot quicker.

Hold in there!

Thank you!!!!  Yea that's what we are hoping and I imagine... possibly it's hubbys IRS transcripts because he filed accidently as single with the whole didn't know what to put in SSN for me. But we refilled them before posting the package, added the temp ones, and wrote a cover letter. So maybe they will just ask us to bring the official transcripts? Maybe they won't ask for anything at all!! I can't believe it!

When can we roughly expect interview dates to be so you think?

End of October ?

---------------------------

as for those still waiting - my heart goes out for you also. It's really unfair that some service centers are much slower but try to stay strong. Once you get to this part of the process after NOA2 things do tend to move swiftly along. Just read through all that you can on here and online in order to prepare for this stage (IV packs / AOS packs etc). Praying you all get some answers soon and we are here for you when you need to vent any time! ❤️

I know that end of October has already been filled as the people who got theirs last week were given the 30th October. Im really hoping for early November or something but then again im not actually planning on moving till first week of December so it doesn't super matter... I just wana know! Ideally they'd tell me soon so I can book my medical lol. I work in a school and have mid term break at end of Oct going into first week of Nov so im hoping I'd be able to have my medical or interview done in that space so I don't have to take any other time off before leaving for good (currently on 2 weeks off for this suegery recovery!) Eeeekkk!

Even tho your CC came a few days after mine I reckon well hear about interview dates around the same time. Im assuming they're waiting for some info from UK embassy about available slots and then it'll be like BAM to all those with CC sitting waiting lol.
