K1 visa in Ghana Please help!!!

Did you apply for K1 or CR1... Because I learned that CR1 has to change from issued to ready and not K1....

they did the same to me. did you go to DHL or the embassy. My fiance at the time said he went to dhl and they kept telling him to come back. so by the fourth week, he went and the lady said he should go to the embassy and it was there. I had suspected it was at the embassy but they gave him the DHL address. very disorganized Embassy. just Thank God you are all were approved and will be out of their hands.

We applied for a Cr-1, he went to the DHL office today and its not there. So tomorrow he will go to the embassy. In the meantime I can only go by what they told me when I called to check on it. I guess tomorrow we will see whats going on

08/13/2016 -- Form I-797/NOA 2 received in the mail

08/19/2016 -- NVC case received and Case ID assigned

09/01/2016 -- Consulate received

10/19/2016 -- Packet 3 & 4 received

01/04/2017  -- Interview--> Approval!! :dancing:

My fiancé picked it up from DHL today, apparently it was available exactly 2 weeks after the interview. Here is my timeline:

 

Interview: 1/4/17

Status Change: 1/13/17

Available for pick up: 1/18/17

Picked up from DHL: 1/24/17

I've seen "available for pick up" 

Does it mean it has to change from "Issued" to "available for pick up" ???

Thank you. The last status updated on the CAEC site is "issued"

i meant available for pick up as in I could have picked it up as early as 1/18/17 because it was ready at that time, but unfortunately we did not know where to go.

Please how did you know it was available for pick up???? Did you track it or you were told at the DHL office when your fiancé got there today???
