There is no reason why your fiancé cannot start the process of your K-1 visa.  You do not know your father, he's irrelevant to the situation.  Just "IF" you are asked about your RL Father tell them the truth.  You don't know anything about him, he left when you where a toddler and have never heard from him again.  I doubt they will ask.

Remember, answer all questions honestly, short & sweet - Don't give more than you have too.

Start your process and come to the states :)

As Shokra said you should be fine, your father being a USC won't have any impact on you coming over with a K-1, as this is just between you and your s/o :)

The only time any forms will ask about your father, that I can think of, is the G-325A where you list your biographic information. It asks for mother & father names, their birthdates, and where they live I believe- although you could easily say N/A if you do not know. My fiancé is very distant with her father and couldn't name where he was born on the form, but it went through USCIS just fine :) Good luck!

You should be fine :) I understand that it's easy to worry about every little detail during this process, because that's how I am! However not knowing much about a parent will not make or break a case IMO, because the petition is for you only, not them. USCIS is more concerned about you, your background, etc. They do not care if you parent is a U.S citizen or not, so it will not have any impact on how your case is processed. They are more concerned with where you have been, lived, and been doing with your life, etc.

You should be fine with that information you mentioned above, plus he is listed on your birth certificate which is good to have! Here's a link to the G-325A form so you can see the information they ask about for your parents. It's just first and last name, birthdate, birth country (if known), and where they currently live. If you do not know something, writing N/A is probably acceptable- such as where he currently resides as you don't know. My fiancé did not know the town her father was born in, but listed the country. If you only know the country your father was born in (U.S) but not the city, you will be fine just listing United States. She just said Northern Ireland. :) I think USCIS understands not everyone knows their parents or has the opportunity to keep in touch.

If you are ever REALLY  worried about something not being interpreted properly by a USCIS officer, you can always write *See Attachment on any given question on a form if you want to explain your situation briefly. For example, in the space where it asks on the G-325A where he currently resides, you could type in *See Attachment, if you feel more comfortable doing so than writing N/A. On a separate piece of paper you could always briefly state you haven't had contact with your father since you were a toddler and cannot say where he currently resides, as you haven't been in touch since. Sometimes saying less is better, but it also comes down to what you are comfortable with and feel safest doing. Don't get too hung up on this, I think you'll be more than fine, and the more you overthink it, the worse you'll feel. Focus more on making sure all forms are signed and dated, and you both have all the evidence you need for the I-129F packet such as boarding passes, receipts, photos, etc. :) Best of luck, I really hope this helps!
