hey visa family i have a question.. my fiance got arrested 3 years ago for something that he didnt do.. and was let go the day after his arrest because he was innocent. now the consul after 1 month requested for us to send those papers to the embassy.. since he was innocent they really dont have much just a paper saying he has no criminal record and he came out innocent. can this harm his visa ? do they just want it to make sure he didnt go to jail? i would really love to hear some feedback guys :/ im pregnant and worried..

Anytime a visa applicant is arrested they want to review court documents. The police station or court should have a record of the dismissal.  I would try to obtain whatever documents you can. If there is no court records then try to get that in writing from them. Do your best to obtain something. 

 

It stands to reason as long as it shows he was dismissed without charge it should not adversely affect visa approval
