Errors on Filed I485 and I765

I came to the US from Canada on October 1, married my husband on October 15 and had my AOS/EAD/AP applications filed on November 16.  I recently noticed that I had made some errors on my i765 and i485.

On the 765 I put the wrong eligibility category.  On the 485, where it asked for the visa number, I incorrectly put the "document control number."  I called customer service and they couldn't do anything over the phone and advised I send in a written letter.

I have sent in 2 separate letters to the NBC in MO to explain the error and request that they make the amendment.

My questions are:

1.) is this sufficient to remedy the errors or should I be very concerned it will result in a denial of both?

2.) More importantly with respect to the 485, if denied, can I refile asap and still be protected?  It would not be feasible for me to return to Canada and go down the spousal visa route.

3.) Would it serve any benefit to visit infopass to explain in person?

Thank you so much for any help/advice.  This community has been a tremendous help through the whole journey thus far.

My husband keeps telling me to relax that we'll figure it out, but I am so upset with myself over the silly mistakes.

Coulda happened to anybody. Worst case scenario is they give you an RFE. You're going about it the right way trying to fix it. An Infopass may not be a bad idea.
