Hello everybody, I am new to this website. I have been surfing it from a long time. i got married on January 21st, 2007. I filed my I-129F on February 17th. After all the processing, the file reached CSC on March 27th and has been touched on March 28th.

I am trying to prepare I-134. I am a medical student wth no job and income at all. My father is going to provide the affidavit for my husband. My question is should there be two affidavits, one from me, the actual sponsor (but no income though) and from my father?? or just my father's is enough.

Thank you for your help

The answer is Yes. One from you because you are the immigrant sponsor and one from your father the joint sponsor.

adhi,

Not necessarily. You obviously will not be sponsoring your husband's visa, your father will be if he is found to be acceptable. His financial information may be all that is asked for.

That being said, you won't know the answer to your question until your husband is at his interview. So you should prepare your own financial package for him to submit if it is asked for.
