Processing dates for California Service Centre

Hey VJers,

 

I just had a question.

 

We got our NOA1 on 11/28/2016 and are awaiting NOA2. 

 

Immigration timelines page on VJ shows that CSC is processing I-129 F for 11/28/2016. However, if I check on USCIS website -- https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do

 

it shows that they are processing petitions from August 2016. My fiance called to check the same and was told that they are processing petitions from August.

 

I am little confused here, please help!!!!!

Hello,

what you are looking at on VJ is just the timeline (I see this as a guide and not the exact timeline from uscis), you can check the USCIS for the exact processing time, and if you are not satisfied, you should call USCIS for your NOA2.

Yep. That is what I presumed too. I was kind of hopeful that this will be close to an exact approximation, however, since the call she made yesterday we have been a little dejected.

They are already working cases with very early November NOA 1 dates.

Most of their focus has been on cases received 10/31 and before.

Over the last 2 nights the have approved about 15 petitions per night for cases received on 10/31.

Thanks for your reply. I am hoping to see an NOA 2 soon. Basis of what you mention, it might take a little longer than I expect, nonetheless there will be an update soon.
