ASC and Medical in Mexico for K1

Hello!

My fiancé will have to his K1 interview in Juarez, but I wanted to know if it is possible to do the ASC Biometrics and/or the Medical appointments in Merida. Even if it is just one, it could be really helpful to travel 3 hours by car to Merida for 1-2 days maybe a week or two prior to the Interview in Juarez. Is this at all possible? It doesn't have to be both, but that would be really a great option.

Thank you in advance

Tori

ugh I understand your frustration! My understanding is that Medical can only be done in either Juarez or Mexico City (if you have an address there, as you mentioned before, but that doesn't help you since you guys are far) I downloaded the official document and it stays that.

From what I've investigated, a lot of people don't need a lot of time in Juarez, you can have your medical and the biometrics on the same day. You might find useful the advanced search option on the top and searching for Juarez, and there are stories from people who already went through the interview state, with valuable tips.

Yeah, I have done that and we were planning 3 days MAX in Juarez, but we love Merida, and since there is a consulate there, and also ASC and Medicals, we figured it would be better for us mentally as we do NOT want to go to Juarez, but only for the interview. I know interviews for Immigrant Visa are only in Juarez (or DF if you live within the Sate of Mexico), BUT was hoping that the other steps could be done in a nicer, closer and safer place so we could get in and out of Juarez as fast as possible. Maybe as we get closer I can actually talk to someone within the Embassy to get verification. Thank you for your response. I can't wait until its all over (and I haven't even mailed the I-129F yet) :(

Gonna add another question to this thread as I have gotten not so constant responses elsewhere...

In regards to vaccinations. I know they are not necessary for K1 Beneficiary's to enter the US, but are needed for the AOS, so they said its not a bad idea to do them. What exact vaccinations are needed for a 37 year old male? And can these vaccinations be done prior to the Medical in Juarez? It will be a significant savings if they can be. Please let me know what is the best way to do this, and what is needed :)

THANKS :)
