Hi.. how long it took the transfer of K2 visa from Singapore to Manila?

I had the same case. I did my k1 visa in Singapore and its approved. I am in US now. I came her April 2018. Then this October we decided to process the K2 visa of my son, same I emailed US embassy manila and Singapore and upon checking the status its still Transfer in Progress until now.. its been 2 months already. They said it will take several months when I called.

I just wanna know roughly how long it took for you.

Thanks

Its just took like 10 days for me. I did email NVC for it not the embassy tho. Did you try calling NVC for it? I think the reason it was fast for mine is I did the switch during the NVC process since I was a CR1 visa.

I had my case transferred from Manila to SG however this was during NVC stage it took them a week to respond to my email and gave me a new case number. Since it was still in NVC I have emailed NVC about it not sure on how long it would be when you dealing with Consulate Stage.

Hey! Could you please share the email address for the NVC? I need to contact them too, since there is a chance they will send our papers to the wrong consulate. We are still waiting for NOA2 though, but we just want to make sure we contact them before they send the papers to the consulate. Thanks!

Asknvc@state.gov do include proof of residence that you are currently near that consulate or for whatever reason you would like to transfer.
