Hi, I received my green card yesterday, but I found a mistake in it. It should say sex: F

and in the card is written: M

Does anyone has been thru this before? Where should I turn it back? and how long will it take? I got it from the US Department of Homeland Security

Thanks!

bradschry&samira,

Form I-90. The anecdotal evidence suggests that it may take a while.

My wife's I-551 has a mistake on it also - a letter left out of her middle name (formerly her maiden name). But there are several ways that the name could be transliterated anyway so we let it ride rather than have her go without a card while a new one was being made. Don't know what we would have done had the USCIS given her a sex change ......
