good afternoon friends and all others who are so helpful who i consider friends even if you may not.

So my first question is the I-864 asks if she is a relative or something else that does not fit. So what would I choose?

Also, does it have to be notarized also?

FYI I already sent a I-134 form to her all notarized and everything, will that suffice? I am trying to prepare for a interview on the Fiance Visa.

Thanks beforehand

Did you include financial evidence to back up the numbers on the I-134?

In our case this what the I-134 included.

  • I-134 signed and notarized.
  • Tax transcripts from the IRS for past 3 years, (2005,04,03)
  • Photo copy of IRS form 1040, and W2s for past 3 years
  • Letter from my employer stating anual salary, job responsibility, and that is full time, on company letterhead.
  • Photo copies of past 6 months pay stubs up to a few weeks before the interview.

I-134 is correct, I-864 is used for immigrant visas like Spouse realitive (IR-1/CR-1) and when your fiancee marries you and you file to adjust status in the USA.

No mam/sir,

I did not do the tax forms

and I only photocopied my last 3 checks

I am pretty sure that is what it asked for

This interview will be in Lima, Peru

if anyone has interviewed there, I would appreciate any response

thanks

If Peru folows the same procedures that other consulates around the world do, they will reject the I-134 without evidence backing up the numbers on the form. Virtually all consulates treat K-1, and K-3 visas like any other immigrant visa and use the same evidence standards used by the I-864 with the I-134, so the list I indicated in my previous post is what they will expect. The minimum is past year's tax return(1040+W2 or Tax transcript). I-864 indicates Employer letter, and pay stubs are optional.

I did not want to cause my fiancee to have the visa denied for missing financial evidence, that is why I included more than the minimum.

I read through the I-134 guidelines here. And on the Peru embassy website. It says nothing about my tax returns. I already sent all the stuff to her, without the tax returns. Is it necessary that she has my last 3 tax returns? Cause I will send if I need to
I would highly recomend them, any solid documents proving your income is what you put on the I-134 is recomended, tax-returns is the best.
