Hey guys,

Throughout this whole process, you all have been so helpful. I don't know how people used to do these things before internet forums...

Anyways, I'll try to keep it short.

I'm sending my packet in tomorrow, this is the table of contents / cover letter I have prepared to include with the application. Maybe you guys can help me notice if I'm missing anything in here... If not, well this could serve as a helpful little checklist for others...

Very impressive. I didn't have a cover letter. I didn't include copies of my I-20s or any of my degrees. Remember to double check or even triple check your completed I-864 forms and supporting documents. Thats usually the most common reason for RFEs.

I believe he's referring to moving the checks and the G-1145 up to the top. I can't remember where exactly, but I did read on the USCIS website that they prefer the checks to be on top, then that E-Notification form.

03/29/2016 Officially started dating

01/05/2017 Both checks are cashed

01/09/2017 NOA received in mail for I-130, I-485 and I-765

01/23/2017 Biometrics Appointment notification received (Appt set for 02/02/17)

02/17/2017 I-485 Status updated to "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview"

03/23/2017 Case Status updated to "EAD Card is being produced."

Yes, it's just the order they want it in, which makes sense.

There's a whole bunch of tips here to assembling your packet, but the ones I'm referring to are at the very bottom. https://www.uscis.gov/forms-filing-tips
