Hey guys,

I have question for you? My mother has applied for my brother for FB2 his PD is August 13, 2012.. We just moved to Portland form Wisconsin. I have filled the form to "askNVC" how to update the address but have not heard anything back. What should I do and when would we get any letter or so for the NVC process? The fist and last email we have gotten from them, when they assign him the case number about  4 years ago... Please help me with the process guys. I will highly appreciate that.

Bushra

Congrats!!!! allset

Congratulations allset. Mine is on 9th. Fingers crossed. Bursha, call NVC and ask them to change your addresss. We did the same thing. It should be easy. Good luck.

Hi all,

I went through my interview and it went well. I wore a semi-formal outfit for my interview. It lasted for 10 minutes. The interviewer asked me if I wanted to continue my nursing career in the US, and I said "yes". She took my 2017 tax documents and saw the pictures that  I took with my petitioner. I will be able to collect my passport in 10-15 days. I am so happy and over the moon. Eight years, GOSH!!!!

I would like to thank you all "visa journey" members for the encouragement and help. You guys have been so awesome.

Thank you!

How old are her children? And have they been included in visa process (paid fees for each application and etc.)?

Thanks for reply Bushra. Fortunately we are on the same boat. I think if the priority date comes in the 2nd Chart, then we get the Welcome Letter and the case starts in NVC. I don't know how much time it takes.

My interview was yesterday. Went in the embassy about 7:00 am went through the process of finger printing submitting original birth cert and police record. That file was huge as its five of us. Sat and waited until after 10;00 before my name was called. He asked who filled for us if my petitioner filed for my dad as well. waited a long again till he started going the files along with another employee. He asked us to do finger prints said our file was complete but looked back on the original birth cert and noticed that my dads name was added late and that when the questions started to come, but i answered respectfully and to the best of my knowledge. He then ask my eldest son to sign that he will apply for selective service ask who had visas that they will be cancelled but am not to worry as he will be giving me a better one. And thanks be to the most high we got approved. The journey has not ended it has just turned  a new chapter seven years of waiting but to all my visa journey people note that it will be worth it. Thanks to all in the group who shared there experience so others who be more prepared. Thank to Allset and all the group leaders who created those charts to guide and update. Wow am so excited right now All the best to you all:jest::jest:
