10 year green card arrived in the mail yesterday! (Still old style) Unfortunately my esposo left yesterday morning to his work trip abroad. He'll have to navigate immigration just a few more times with that extension letter!

Now we are waiting for N400 NOA1!

So close to the end! I think I may finally see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Jealous of you guys going on with the N400.  We need to wait until August.  As far as your packet are you all sending (essentially) an I-751 packet loaded with goodies?  Updated bank statements, etc?  Or are you going a little lighter this time around?

Curious.

My package was much lighter than ROC. Yet, I've noticed that those of us just coming out of ROC tend to include a lot more stuff in our package compared to those on 5-year rule and others who just waited several years before filing N-400. The instruction tells you to bring some documents to the interview but then at the end, it suggests that you may also add those documents to your initial application. You probably already know what I would do if given half of that suggestion by USCIS.

By the way, congrats to all those who just got their approvals and 10-year GC in the past few days. Gradually, we will reach 100% approval!

Oh please!  Enjoy your time off from the ridiculous paper circle hell of USCIS!  You guys are good.  You've got the 10 year green card!  It's okay to relax a little between GC and citizenship!

We sent everything but the kitchen sink for I751.  I mean I put that bad boy in a BOX in order to mail it.  This time I think I included too much, but it fit in an envelope so I felt pretty good about my constraint. haha:jest:

This is what we sent-

  • My completed form N-400 that includes one supplemental information page.

  • A check in the amount of $725 made payable to US Department of Homeland Security.

  • Form G-1145 E-notification of Application Acceptance

  • A letter regarding frequency of travel.

  • A photocopy of both sides of my Permanent Resident Card

  • A photocopy of I-797: notice of receipt and one year extension on Permanent Resident Card

  • A photocopy of I-797C: biometric appointment letter

  • A photocopy of I-797: approval of removal of conditions of my Permanent Resident Card

  • A copy of the inside front cover and signature page of my wife's current US passport.

  • A certified copy of my marriage certificate.

  • Joint IRS tax transcripts for years 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016

  • Three apartment leases from 2014 to the present.

  • Copies of several joint bank account statements from November 2014 to the present.

  • Copies of several joint credit card account statements from February 2016 to the present.

Hi All,

Finally, it's my turn to share my joy.  Just received my approval letter dated on May 15, 2017!!!  Also, I'd like to share my experiences after receiving the RFE.  Now, it's just one last thing waiting for the physical card :)

1. RFE letter received dated on 04/21/17 (dated on 04/18/17), send out the supporting documents to VSC on 04/25/16 (confirmed received by VSC on 04/26/17)

2. We planned to have a week vacation to Europe in the early May. So, I went to the local office to get the I-551 stamp on my passport before my one-year extension expired on early May.

3. When coming back from Europe, everything was fine except the officer at the airport asked me to go with him and to double check my status.  Spent about 5 min and everything was ok.

3.a.  I brought expired GC, one-year extension document of I-797 NOA, passport with I-551 stamp (having one-year extension) with me to the trip

3.b. Here is the list of my supporting documents for my RFE, hoping someone will find it useful when preparing the documents (I also gathered this information from google searches):

Joint Finances:

1.     Copies of 1040 forms of U.S. Income Tax Return with W-2 forms which filed as “Married filing jointly”

2.     Copies of Form 502 of Resident Income Tax Return of which filed as “Married filing joint return”

3.     Copies of Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Tax Return Transcripts

4.     Copies of IRS Account Transcripts

5.     Copies of IRS Record of Account

6.     Copies of joint Bank Checking Account statements

7.     Joint Utility Bills of Monthly Water Payments

Joint Residence:

1.     Deeds

2.     Real Property Database

3.     Copies of both current Driver Licenses

4.     Copies of both Credit Card statements

5.     Copy of Costco membership information

6.     Copies of mortgage payment and different utility bills (cable/phone/electric/gas etc.) over the past three years

Joint Liability:

1.     Copies of current Health Insurance Cards

2.     Copies of Auto Insurance Payments

3.     Copies of Auto Insurance Cards

4.     Copies of Declarations of the Home Owner Insurance

5.     Copies of Renewal Certificates of Home Owner Insurance

Affidavits from third parties

1.     Affidavit letter form a close friend A

2.     Affidavit letter form a close friend B

Husband and I are currently on holiday in Scotland, but I just got an email from USCIS saying the new card is in production and I had to share :D:D What a surprise! We hadn't received any updates as of the 14th, which is when we started our trip in England, so I guess we probably have an approval letter waiting in the held mail with USPS. Glad to have got by without an RFE! We'll tackle the rest of the N400 when we're back in the states (and I'll officially update my info on here, too) :)

Thank you so much! :) Things are getting quiet around here, seems like most people have got through. I sure hope so!

I had another email notification today that the card was shipped on May 25, so hopefully we'll have it next week. Interestingly, although I was signed up for both text and email alerts, only email alerts ever came through. Also, the USCIS website captured status updates for card production and shipment, but not the approval itself - we only have that documented via postal letter.

oh no. seems like my card was lost in mail somehere.

uscis status shows card to be mailed on May 4, 2017.

Tracking shows it has been delivered on May 9th. However, till today we never received anything.

its pretty much lost, most likely usps mail man made mistake in delivery.

what do i do next? i-90? have to pay again? and wait 10 months?

this is devastating..
