@nan2 Thanks for sharing this news but I'm going to hold off on doing a dance until I confirm this is a VSC filer. It is possible but I doubt they would have patch @Blessed! through to tier 2 officers if he/she was a VSC filer because this case would have been considered still within normal processing time. 

 

Hoping I'm wrong though...fingers crossed.

Looks like VSC is taking about a year to get approved.  Although, USCIS site still says data based on 11/30/2016.

I remember when I got that letter saying my conditional residence status was extended for one year. I said to myself, "there's no way this is taking a year" and within a few weeks I was online multiple times a day checking my case status. After all, it took less than 6 months to get approved for AOS. I thought this would have been quicker.

Thank you Lord..Long waiting is over.I checked my case status today  and it said that my card was produced.

It's been 14 days and I haven't received my card yet. We filed our tax for 2016 already and only need the green card to mail out my N400. The tracking number isn't included this time so I have no idea when it will arrive...

My status changed today to new card being produced. This is the best valentine's gift ever after coming back from the best vacation. I am with CSC can somebody update the google doc for me?Thank you!And to those who are still waiting, patience is the key!

Congratulations! it usually takes about 10 days after they said that they mailed your card...

It took our CR-1 nearly 1.5 years to be approved by the incompetent idiots at USCIS/NVC.  I was not expecting any better for ROC.  In fact, I suspect that somehow our naturalization process will get delayed as well.

 

Can't wait to be done with this

WOW...it took that long? Did they just left it there to collect dust or was it because they had a ton of follow up requests? If you've written about this in a post please share the link. I'd love to hear your story.

Congratulations. It is good to know that there is some movement in CSC however little it is!

I applied in the 2nd half of April (check cashed on May 12, 2016). They finally approved it and the new card will be sent in mail. I got the letter Feb 13, 2017. I've had no additional appointments beyond bio-metrics.

 

I have to say I did not send Affidavit of Support letters (after thinking about it for a while). They aren't important I guess.

Oh it's sort of all over.

 

I applied from abroad so I was hoping to get that "expedite" line, but that didn't happen.  First of all I was stuck in a group of applicants that happened to file at the same time as a whole bunch of illegal immigrants were given amnesty (not saying I'm for or against this, just that is happened at the same time), so our files were pushed aside.  When our I-130 petition was finally approved the NVC portion took way longer than normal as they kept sending me RFEs for things I had either sent in, or done correctly the first time.  (said my tax number was wrong, I printed out the exact same form and sent it in again= approved; said I didn't send in a certified marriage cert, sent the same copy in THREE TIMES and finally they accepted it; etc)

 

My signature goes over a little bit of what went down.  It was a very frustrating process, as is this one.  I'm ready to apply for that N400 and FIN.
