Starting to get a bit mad at all this waiting. We provided a thorough packet. We have an InfoPass appointment tomorrow. Our packet was received on 4/15/16, and we still have nothing from USCIS. I don't understand the delay. I'm thinking that it might have been two things. 1. Was that we moved and had to update our address in July. Maybe that is causing a delay. 2. Is that when we submitted paperwork, whoever was typing our information into the system at USCIS typed my wife's name wrong. We had to go to USCIS and get things changed. Maybe that moved us to the back of some line?

All I know is that this is unneeded stress for us. My wife is superwoman and is dealing with all of this, plus work while being 8 months pregnant with our first child.

I feel your pain. I have a lot of things riding on my approval. My date is 4/28/16 and I've heard nothing either and I'm so frustrated - I can imagine you more so. Hang in there.

I understand how you feel. It makes it worse to see some people at the end of the May filers line have already gotten approved. I don't understand their logic in processing cases. They say "cases are processed in the order they are received" but there are obviously other factors at play.

Don't stress it too much. I would give it another 2 weeks or until you're outside "normal processing time"  before considering other actions like contacting your State Senator.

Congratulations on the baby. Wish you guys a safe delivery.

Hope I'll be back soon to congratulate on the approval.

I totally understand the madness due to an inconsistent processing of the paperwork. I totally don't understand why they don't work chronologically.

I moved after I submitted my I751. I changed my address at online but that procedure did not change the outcome.

NOA date 04/25/2016. No update here as well. I will pause my 'active excited waiting' now and just hope to get an extension during my infopass appointment next week. Not just lowering but completely dropping any expectation for next 2 weeks might be better :)

Yeah I think I've moved to the same boat as you.  My husband has an infopass next week.  Just going to wait until then.

I think I am going to join the same boat as you both, because I just checked my mailbox and there was nothing, again. I suppose I need to schedule an infopass appointment, although my GC's date is at the end of June... Is it within a month before the one year extension expires when they accept to put that stamp on the passport?

It depends on the officer and the circumstance.  Some have been able to get the stamp before the one month date of GC + 1 expiration, some have not.  The main reason I want my husband to go in is to make sure they have our correct address (we moved TWICE).  While he's there I figure he can ask about the status of the application.  I'm not going to have him get a stamp since we now have that document that specifically says the letter extends the GC for a year.

I had an infopass appointment about 3 weeks ago (beginning of April) with a 4/28/16 NOA date. I was advised to wait and that there was no update. I already had a stamp until October so that wasn't a concern, but I was told they had no update and not to worry if it even took up to a year and a half from NOA.

Also, what bulletin timeline does everyone use? The one I go to has dates as of Feb 2017 so it's always 2 months behind which shows April filers are still "on time" so can't even complain about it..

Yeah, that's the only timeline that USCIS considers legitimate and the phone bank employees treat it as though it's current, even though the page clearly shows the date that information was current. (6 weeks old on the day it's posted, 10 weeks old by the time they update it again.) It's frustrating when the only people we can call to get information have less actual knowledge than we do!

Is your timeline updated?
