international travel after biometrics but before interview

Hello all,

I submitted my N-400 application in November (based on 3-year marriage to USC), did the biometrics shortly before Christmas. Judging my current trend, it seems I won't be getting my interview date scheduled until April-ish or later.

Question is, can I travel internationally at this point?

I just got a call that my dad is in hospital and I'd very much like to go see him.

My assumption is that I can travel internationally as a Permanent Resident, and can travel as long as I make it to my interview. (My husband will stay behind so he can check for USCIS letters). I'd imagine I will be abroad for no more than 1 month or so.

Thanks!

i went to Canada after my biometrics in October.  I went for a couple of weeks.  I don't see a problem, just update them when you get your interview appt. on the latest travel.
