How does eevryone feel about establishing a Arabe and/or Dardja group for learning language... I mean a recipe area was established...what about a language area...to be pinned in the forum or on a seperate site?

How does everyone feel about this?Possible? Worth it? Anyone interested?

I am going to get serious about my Darija this week-end. Idir laughs at me so much when i try to say something. we were practicing letter pronumciation yesterday. He said three different letter sounds an dI said they all sound the same to me. :help:

How can one claim God cares to judge a fornicator over judging a lying, conniving bully? I guess you would if you are the lying, conniving bully.

GEG:I agree...even with translateration I am even more confused... I have to hear it to remember it or write it down in my own translieration...Maybe start with basics...names of things, basic actions or commands...useful phrases....ok i cannot even type for sure i am tired. off to bed!Demain everyone!

Well, I'm sure from the post I made a few days ago that pretty much everyone here knows who I am and that I would be interested in a group for learning language. My biggest problem has been, as I said before, the correct dialect. I have the "Magnum Language Systems Easy Immersion Arabic" software. I like the way it is set up. I'm not really interested right now in learning how to hand write arabic, just be able to speak it, understand it and get the dialect correct. A lot of what is on this software is correct, but when I've told Tarek some of what is on it and he just wrinkles his brow and says "no".

What I really like about this software is that it has words and phrases spelled out in english alphabet and then prounounces them in audio. I keep a form on my desk when I'm learning. I write down the english word then the spelling in enlish alphabet and then I write the way it would be spelled in english according to the way it sounds.

I've learn a lot from just this software as well as some other tools, but like I said.....not always the correct dialect.

I think that there may be a way to help each other in a language group.....what one doesn't know someone else may.

Good suggestion.
