Why is there such a big difference in the processing time stated on the USCIS website (Nov 26) and the VJ processing times (Dec 16)? When I called USCIS a while back they said that they update the processing times after the 15th of the month. Seems like Nebraska hasn't moved even a day in the last month. We've been waiting already 8 months for our i-130 approval.

That is the bs we ve to deal with! 252 days n counting..

There's been lots of talk about the Nebraska situation in this forum, there is a known backlog.

As far as the dates, USCIS = official source, VJ = a very tiny percentage of applicants that use this site

Also the dates from VJ don't always make sense if you look at the current date they show vs approvals listed for December.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Nebraska where they are slower then any Service Center.

The visajourney processing times are based on what people put in their  timelines and then it is calulacted by what they enter. Hope I explained this correctly... Either way Nebraska hasn't moved a inch...

So this morning when I woke up I had a bunch of text messages from an unknown number.

APPROVED!!!!!

I had 5 text messages total from 2 different numbers so I thought it was an error because that's happened to people once before, so I logged into the USCIS systems.

APPROVED!!!!

It was approved on Aug 21st, and I received text messages and email today

I'm signed up for informed delivery and I have mail coming today but they weren't able to scan it, I'm wondering if thats the notice.....

Well there's still a few weeks before things actually get rolling with this 2nd phase.

8 months total

If everything is on track from this point, we should be approved before Christmas, although I here its hard to get an appointment in Juarez.

Still LOTS of December people before me, I was the only approved case when I searched near by, all the other applicants were from Dec 13th I believe, that's when my case was received by them but my PD is a week later.

Best of luck to the rest of you, guess I'll start checking out the NVC thread too.

CONGRATS!!!

Gives me hope. I saw some cases this morning PD 12/8 approved and one 12/12 (which is also my PD) sent RFE notice. At least I know they are moving. Best of luck on your NVC journey. Hopefully I will be checking out that thread soon too.

Congrats!😂

Harsh2010,

Im going to immigration today in the city where I live so I'm praying to get answers from someone there verses making calls getting the same old story of " be patient" OR telling me I'm in the process timeline.

Nebraska os definitely being talked abt and after I leave there I'm meeting with congressman and senators here as all us Nebraska filers of sick of being placed on back burner. We see others getting approved from other service centers and it's sickening now...Frankly I'm tired of all this delayment...

Keep you posted on my findings...

WISH ME LUCK EVERYONE...
