It would be sad if we're celebrating getting to 200-300 days without approvals. The drinking would still happen, but for a whole different reason.

I like your idea way more. Let's have a party once we're approved so we can definitely start the NVC stage on a good note. I'll bring the Tequila and Mezcal!

I think all us Nov/Dec filers stuck in Nebraska should have a big reunion celebration planned somewhere where we all get together and celebrate getting Nebraska GONE GONE GONE.....

Earlier today i was having one of those self pitty days. Thank you to all who just lifted my spirits especially Dianalorena you made me seriously LOL persons were looking at me. 

Let me say congrats to all who got approved. There is light at the end of the tunnel for you guys. All the best in the next phase.

Totally agree. I can make some pozole and tacos, everyone loves tacos right? Even Trump Tower has a  taco bowl

3 cases from    PD Dec 6 : Case Approved  

3 cases from    PD Dec 6 : case Sent to D.O.S 

3 cases from    PD  Dec 8 : RFE Sent

PD Dec 12   Name was Updated  ( Often Cases are approved  or RFE sent after this update ) 
PD April 17 2017,    Case Approved  (  Country = Philippines ) 

 

also : still Hundreds of cases left to be Dealt with from November 

 

Good sign they picking up lot more December cases and heading into 2nd week of December 

 

I'll  post  more updates once I gather more updates from case tracker app  and I'll also add more cases to tracking hehe

I am so sorry you had to waste money filing the K3, it is known fact amongst the immigration forums that they are not really being granted anymore (or very, very few if anything) too bad your lawyer didn't know this. Speeding the NVC stage would ''level the playing field'' a little bit at least, so the overall waiting time would be similar for all of us applying at the same time. Also 252 days is just ridiculous. Have you contacted a congressman, did anything else, called? I know it basically doesn't do anything but sometimes in a miracle, it might result in someone looking at your case. 

 

I haven't called because I know they will just tell me I am within normal processing times. USCIS processing table went backwards now and is back to processing Nov 15 cases (which is bull$#@&!!!), and with my PD being Dec 6, it will be a while before I am considered "out of processing times". I have read mixed reviews regarding contacting my congressman; some people say that it pushed their case back by an extra 60 days. So the last thing I want to do is add more waiting time onto our, so far, 8 & 1/2 month wait.

I completely understand. I find myself thinking the same, would calling do anything? will I bother the wrong person and delay my case? it's a horrible thing, knowing that just inquiring about a case that is out of the normal processing times can cause someone trouble. They don't have a ''standardized'' waiting period, it used to be 3 to 5 months, which is still the case for most centers (5-6 months) but for us stuck in Nebraska the new normal seems to be closer to 10... ridiculous.
