Did you pay the AOS and IV fees yet?

If not, then you probably completed the DS-261 for the Choice of Agent.

Hello!

For those at NVC. Does everything run smooth after the welcome letter? Not taking long in between steps?

Also would you confirm if the welcome letter comes in the mail or email. Somebody said in another thread the welcome letter is sent by email.

The good thing with NVC, you manage your time with them. I received my Welcome letter on July 17, I made my payments within 2 weeks ( I did not have to deal with the payment issues that they had) also the ds-260 and sent out my paper work out as well, the only thing I sent my papers to the wrong suite 200 instead of 100 (I had to sent them yesterday again on 8/4). They will receive them on Monday august 7. I hope they scan them the same day. As soon they scan my documents I can start counting my 11 weeks to close my case. I made my 6 steps in 3 weeks due to i have to send my papers twice. :jest:

I hope everybody can do NVC so fast.

Good luck everyone.

Wow that's amazing. That makes me excited. You mean they take 11 weeks to process and assign an interview date?

And you are Dominican too! Awesome. Since you sent your packet already maybe I should ask you, did you have to request a police certificate in DomRep and did you have to translate it?

Good to know the police report does not need to be translated. Thanks.

I am still waiting on approval PD 12/12. However, in the meanwhile I am trying to gain as much info as possible so as soon as I am approved I can get the ball rolling on the NVC stage.
