Thats normal processing, Nebraska is the main hub.

Received case and invoice numbers: 9/12/2017

Choice of Agent DS-261: 9/12/2017

Welcome Letter: 9/15/2017

Received and Paid AOS: 9/15/2017    AOS payment cleared my bank: 9/19/2017 (still shows In Process on CEAC)

Received and paid IV bill: 9/19/2017    IV bill cleared bank: 9/21/2017

Requested Expedite: 9/20/2017

AOS and IV show as paid: 9/23/2017

DS260 unlocked: 9/23/2017

Partial Expedite Approved at Counselor Level: 9/25/2017 (Must still wait out NVC)

Scan Date: 10/2/2017    Case Complete: 11/15/2017 (6 weeks 2 days!)

Case sent to consulate: 11/20/2017     Received by consulate: 11/21/2017 (11/20 was a holiday in Mexico)

Interview Scheduled: Jan 2nd - I managed to get someones canceled appointment the very same day my case status turned to Ready.

Biometrics: Mexico City Dec 27th Medical: Mexico City Dec 28th

Case says READY but consulate says case is not in system, I jumped the gun and booked an interview but they say its invalid until I receive the letter so I might have to cancel it.

Appointment Letter: Flew to Juarez just to get this, its actually 2 letters you need.

Interview Day: Jan 2nd   Interview Result: APPROVED

Tracking Number Received: Via email notice and website the afternoon of Jan 4th    Visa Delivered: Friday Jan 5th Mexico City

USCIS Notice - Green Card mailed: 3/28/18

Unfortunately, we all have to be patient and wait. Nothing else we can do.

It's bad Nebraska is moving so slow. It has to be something that we can do

I have a list of cases I track and so I just get on the app and refresh the case status. The ones I've posted have changed from case was received to either approved or sent to Dept of State.

The curious part is they change the status after 6 PM. Idk if they automatically release the updates but I never see a change before 6 PM.

Î've seen 9 approvals today from NSC close to my case. They are moving, slowly and definitely NOT surely 

11/17/2016: Got engaged
11/28/2016: I-130 sent to Chicago IL lock box
01/12/2016: NOA1

How did you find out that you have been approved, USCIS website status update or App or email or text or mail or did you call USCIS?

They didn't sent us email neither app....we just received hardcopy on mail just surprise it was approved on 26 July while we received it on 31 July then our app was updated on 2 august and sent to NVC after I called them

Update...my app just notified me the "Name was updated" case with 12/6 PD has been approved. So I guess that answers my question if an approval follows shorty after that status.

I used mine and the app lets you see up to 500 cases that follow yours. So I just played with the numbers to see previous cases.

  • 12/03/21      I drove 3 hours for my interview only to be told my file wasn't there and I'd have to be rescheduled for another interview. they weren't sure if it would be possible before the holiday. He even said he wasn't sure why they didn't do both interviews that very day when i did removal of conditions interview.  
  • 01/07/22.     Interview rescheduled for 02/14/22 @1:30pm Charleston SC.
  • 02/14/22.      Passed my interview. Now await oath ceremony.
  • 11/02/22.      Letter mailed with oath ceremony date and time 
  • 11/08/22.      Received letter oath ceremony scheduled for 11/15/22 @9am Charleston 
  • 11/15/22.      Oath Ceremony in Charleston (finally a citizen of the USA 🇺🇸) 🥳🍾
