That's only if people entered it wrong, which is possible.

Remember, Visajourney is not an official source, it gives you a rough idea, its just a very small percentage of the actual applications.

Priority date is listed on the notice, and you don't necessarily get the notice the same day as the priority date.

 

I'm skeptical myself on the Dec number I'm seeing in the timelines because its saying Dec 5th, but I see no one in the list of recent approvals with that date.

Yeah.. that's why it doesn't make sense to me. For clarity I think they should make it PD and Approval date instead of NOA1 and NOA2. Cause the notification date doesn't really matter.

Just an update, I was able to submit an inquiry today. It's strange how I wasn't able to when I tried Wednesday and last night. I did slightly change the wording on the message I put in the "Last Action Taken on Case" field. Not sure if that had anything to do with it? However, a request has been generated and I was given a referral number. Says I should expect a response by 8/19/2017.

I don't get it because that was my situation previously. Yet today I was able to submit one?

Congratulations! Glad that you were finally approved.

I doubt that it will take 6 weeks.

You probably can start calling NVC after 2 or 3 weeks to see if they received the case. It takes another week or 2 after that for them to assign the case and invoice numbers.

I find that being proactive and calling to get the numbers instead of waiting probably saved me a few weeks.

I paid the AOS fee of $120 yesterday and this morning I paid the IV fee of $325 after I received an email that it was ready. Once the payments are processed, I should be able to start filling out the IV application online.

 

It looks like the process is starting to move a little more quickly now. I think that once you get to the NVC stage, you start seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. However, there is still a lot gathering of information that needs to be done.

That's great. I do hope you had started getting your documents together prior to this, as it makes the process a little more easier.

This week;s recap from Nebraska Center cases I been tracking ..  same situation as last week

nothing to exciting unfortunately ,  but

 

many more cases from November got approved  including lot of November 28 - November 30 ,  and still tons of cases from November that i been tracking , yet to be touched 

and I still haven't seen any December cases approved on my list of tracked cases
